Responsibilities: Technical Engineer in the Design Management team
* Ensure MEP engineering activities are conducted in accordance with project specifications and approved variations if any, in compliance with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and ordinances.
* Develop methods, detailed engineering specifications, and solutions for engineering problems; select the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the various engineering requirement .
* Interacting closely with other discipline engineers to complete multi-discipline engineering activities; contributing to other multi-disciplinary tasks whilst providing expertise in the specialized area .
* Attend technical meetings directed by the client representative, consultant, and subcontractors.
* Applying engineering techniques and analysis with other engineering disciplines to ensure having coordinated ID/Arch/MEP/ELV Revit models and drawings in order to have clash-free design and shop drawings .
* Monitor work execution, ensuring technical alignment and quality with various disciplines and stakeholders. Provide guidance to complete MEP design as per project specifications in a timely manner and provide clear direction when project instructions or specifications are not clear.
* Providing field engineering support to the construction and commissioning works to ensure field execution at the site meets project plans and making appropriate recommendations to management on MEP issues.
* Conducting necessary coordination between suppliers and subcontractors to incorporate all the requirements and interfaces that are needed to have fully integrated systems.
Responsibilities
*Following up and review project Design, Shop drawings, As-Built drawings,
material submittals and site proposal request.
*Monitor the quality of the works in project; make sure that all the works are
compatible with the specifications and drawings.
*Perform inspection for mechanical works at the site (Plumbing, Firefighting and
HVAC) and follow up the progress at the site and Issue site instructions.
*Inspect the materials to ensure full compliance with the specification.
*Ensure conformance to design specifications, codes and standards.
*Participate in progress, technical & coordination meeting as required.
*Lead and coordinate the reporting of the inspection progress for the implemented
work at site.

# The Third Expansion of Holy Haram & Surrounding Area | Makkah | Site Engineer
Extension to accommodate additional 800, 000 worshipers, comprising a new building of 4 praying levels, 194, 000 m² external praying piazzas with 2, 500 toilet and 850 ablution points; a service building of 6 overlapped radial steps with 8, 750 toilets, 5, 370 ablution points, 2 helipads, service and offices and a 110, 000 m² praying area; several bridges total of 42, 750 m² linking the new building to the service building and to the existing Holy Haram; and a service culverts carrying all infrastructure utility networks.

The project involves the construction of a new passenger terminal building and its related support facilities. Passenger and cargo terminals, aprons and a transportation center, Aircraft maintenance facilities, Railway tunnel, Passenger access road, parking facilities, Taxi and bus holdings, Car rental and employee parking and other support facilities include: new ATC (air traffic control) tower, main rescue and firefighting facilities, connections to the municipal sewage treatment plant, nursery facilities and a mosque.

King Abdullah International Gardens will cover a total area of about 2 million sqm. The centerpiece of the project is a 90.000 sqm paleobotanic biome building, formed as two interlocking crescents that consist of a range of different ‘world’ gardens, of specific scientific, cultural and environmental interest. In addition, its aquariums and parks will be home to a wide variety of animal life, from birds and butterflies to fish and reptiles. Visitor amenities will include markets, theaters, meeting halls, coffee shops, children’s playgrounds and other services
*Designed HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems for residential/commercial building, Hotels and industrial projects.
*Developed and reviewed layouts using AutoCAD.
*Calculated the hydraulic calculations for plumbing systems, hydronic calculations of chilled and heating water networks and heating and cooling loads using engineering programs and formulas.
