Initially, I was assigned tasks more specific to a Real Estate Agent. After the successful completion of my initial tasks, I got an opportunity to work as a Real Estate Specialist. While working as a Realtor I was involved in the following responsibilities:
1. Negotiating contracts with buyers and sellers, including reviewing documentation such as purchase offers and counteroffers, drafts of sales contracts, and escrow instructions
2. Listing homes for sale with the help of a real estate agent, marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and digital photography of the property
3. Preparing reports on market trends in the local area including supply and demand analysis, pricing trends, property values, and available inventory
4. Determining the market value of homes or commercial properties using appraising techniques such as comparative market analysis or physical inspections
5. Listing properties for sale on websites such as Zameen along with photos and details about each listing
6. Helping buyers find suitable properties by arranging home tours and suggesting
neighborhoods they may not have considered
7. Preparing offers to purchase property on behalf of clients using knowledge of market trends and negotiating skills
8. Providing clients with market analyses of their properties to determine the best time to sell based on market conditions and pricing estimates
9. Helping clients manage their properties, including collecting rent, responding to tenant requests and complaints, and completing repairs as needed
BBA (Hons.) is an undergraduate degree program that is equal to 16 years of education. It consists of various subjects which help to manage and operate a business in any industry. This course enables a person to perform tasks like accounting, managerial roles, marketing, and administrative tasks. As I choose to study marketing-related topics in my final semesters. It gives me a broad perspective that what product is to be produced and where it could be sold. I also studied sales-related specific topics in this degree program. However, BBA (Hons) consists of various topics and subjects so it enabled me to become a good supervisor, planner, executor, marketer, sales executive, manager, and a good administrator.
