• Accountable for Metering Design, Engineering, Drawings, Calculations, Procedures, Client Management, Material Procurement, Coordination of Fabrication & Assembly and Testing complete Custody/Fiscal Metering System and Surge Relief Projects for World class customers like Saudi Aramco, KOC, KNPC and QP.
• Project Execution in line with Project Contract & Specifications, International & Local Standards, Codes and Regulations for Custody Metering; Co-ordination with all departments like E&I, System, Design, Stress, Process, Production, QA/QC, HSE, Document Control, Procurement, Logistics, Services, Accounts.
• Responsible for arranging all Project Meetings which include Contract Review, Design Review, Client Meetings, Kick off Meetings, Pre inspection Meeting with client and sub vendors, HAZOP Study, Progress Meetings, Project Close Out.
• Review and Approval of Project Deliverables such as P&ID, GA, Electrical & Systems Drawings, and Calculations including Meter/Prover Sizing,
Pressure Drop, Uncertainty, Wake Frequency, Safety and Control Valve Sizing, Actuator Sizing etc.; and Sub -Vendor Documents for Flow
Meters, Valves, Transmitters, Analyzers, Strainers, Relief Valves, Gauges, etc.
• Prepare, Submit, Monitor & Control of Project Deliverables, Technical Queries, Purchase Specification for Instruments/Equipment’s/Material; Formulate Additional Work requests and Change Orders / Variations and to validate with Client/Sub-Vendors
• Co-ordination with clients, sub contactors/Vendors, Third Party Labs & Inspection Agency, suppliers etc to ensure project mile stone with in schedule & budget.
• Organizing / Planning, Prioritizing / Scheduling of Work to accomplish project in time.
• Prepare IOM, Spare Parts List, & support Manufacturing Record Book preparation.
• Familiar with all relevant API, AGA and ISO Standards & Codes of practice of Metering & Metrological Equipment & Systems - Metering Skid, Control System, Prover, Gas Chromatograph & Analyzers.
• Performing detailed engineering in sampling system like Inline sampling, fast loop sampling and Power jet fast loop sampling systems.
• Assisting the Project Manager with identifying, documenting and communicating client requirements. Proactively resolving performance, scope, cost and schedule issues with the Client as they arise.
• Actively involved in scope development, project execution planning, design development and actively determining the client’s needs and relaying.
• Coordinating multi-discipline team to develop an efficient, consistent, cohesive overall design.
• Coordinating Project review meetings, chairing weekly engineering and design team meetings, and writing weekly/Monthly progress reports for clients.
• Involved in Client inspection, FAT and commission activities like Water injection test.
• Ensuring proper understanding of the scope of work, implemented bid strategy, responded to technical and commercial queries.
• Providing quality and accurate technical and commercial bids in a timely manner.
• Ensuring accuracy of the cost of commercial tenders, confirming that risks are addressed & mitigated, and monitoring proposal preparation budgets.
• Proposal / Estimation, Engineering, Design & drawing of Instrumentation Projects, Sampling systems, Well head systems, Chemical injection systems PLC packages and Level chambers.
• Project management, Integration, Inspection, Testing, Documentation and FAT for control system Project with Saudi Aramco, PDO and ONGC
clients.
• System configuration and implementation based on the client specification and Oil & gas International standards.
• Project planning and co-ordination with purchasing and production Department to achieve client specification and quality.
• Engineering assistance for the inspection, FAT, SAT and up to commissioning activities.
• Standardize the project documentation as per the client requirement. Evaluate customer data and ensure quality standards to finalize the system.
Instrumentation and Control system Proficient in execution, Commissioning, Calibration, Final Loop Checking, Function Testing with Troubleshooting.
Control system experience in DCS, PLC, PESS etc. YOKOGAWA (CS3000) Distributed Control Systems, Triconex (TMR) based Emergency Shutdown Systems, Triconex (Tricon) based Fire and Gas Systems, Triconex (Trident) based High Integrity Process Protective Systems etc.
Project Responsibilities
• Perform Calibration, Loop Checking, Troubleshooting, Function Test, Pre- Commissioning and Commissioning of the projects along with client engineers and vendors
• Coordinate commissioning and start-up activity like troubleshooting, calibration of various process instruments.
• Installation and configuration of Instrument Control Systems, Fire and Gas Systems, Emergency Shutdown Systems and High Integrity Process Protective Systems
• Attending technical meeting with client and coordinating
• Responsibility for work scheduling and planning of instrumentation activities.
• Supervisor for the efficient systematic execution of entire Instrumentation work for inspection unit scope of works.
• Review design, engineering & construction documents like P&I D, Instrument Index, Specifications, Instrument Layouts, Instrument Hookups, Instrument Wiring drawings, Complex Control loops, control system interconnectivity and data Interfaces.
• Ensure that instrumentation work and calibration are performed by quality.
• Automation and Field Engineering, in Refinery and petro chemical industry.
• Experienced in safety start-up of Boiler using Honeywell FSC system and its trouble shooting.
• Hand gain experience in various type Transmitters, Control Valves, AB soot blower control system and Vibration monitoring system.
• Involved in verifying PLC Logic (ABB AC1131) and its installation.
• Supporting Commissioning and troubleshooting of the project.
• Trouble shooting valves and transmitters problems.
• Calibration of various Instrumentation & Control devices.
• Verifying panel assembly and Terminations
• Review of P&ID and Termination drawing.
• Review of Hook up drawings.
B.TECH in Instrumentation and Control Engineering
