Driving operational improvements, maximizing the value of the asset base while ensuring a tight control on operational costs. Responsible for monitoring and continually improving standards of performance and quality within the operation.
Duties:
- Managing a team of approximately 60 employees in a busy work environment.
- Negotiating contracts, ensuring that they balance value and risk.
- Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures.
- Creating, managing and analyzing performance data and other information.
- Ensuring that capacity and capability are continually planned.
- Encouraging, identifying and developing best practice strategy.
- Producing Operations manuals which define how the business is to be run.
- Working closely with the Managing Director, Financial Manager, Logistics Manager, IT Manager & HR department
Overseeing and coordinating the day to day running of projects by assisting the Owner, project managers and senior managers. Also involved in the development, updating and monitoring of business and action plans.
Duties:
- Read and studied projects and plans and discussed details with owner for better understanding and foresight
- Directly reported to the owner, sought his advice and took orders for implementation on the project.
- Regular Follow up visits to the sites in & out of UAE, to ensure quality of work.
- Arranged for any improvements, changes and adjustments to the plan as instructed by the owner.
- Made written and visual reports and presented them to the project owner consistently and according to frequency
- Consulted with the project owner and construction staff with regards to main issues that requires the owner’s decisions
- Made follow up calls and meetings for purchased materials and for monitoring purposes
- Recommended solutions and renovations to the project owner for advancement of the project.
- Assisting and supporting the Project Manager in their daily duties.
- Ensuring that relevant management information is captured and analyzed.
- Providing project support to senior Project Managers.
- Reviewing the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.
- Administrative support to Project Managers and Directors on projects.
- Identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks.
- Helping the Contract Manager with the development of operating procedures.
- Communicating with project manager to report on project status.
- Resolving any financial queries that are raised.
- Involved in Coordinating projects from inception to completion.
- Developing training and briefing material for staff.
- Leading and organizing a team.
- Keeping in close contact with key project members and decision makers.
- Involved in interpreting performance data and translate this into practical
Improvements.
- Design all the advertisements for DOHMS (Department Of Health and Medical Services). Banners, posters, catalogs, sign boards, cards... etc.
- Design Most of the brochures & sign boards for Hoffmann-La Roche Company.
- Design a monthly magazine for Dubai Customs using Photoshop, Quark, and Illustrator.
- Design two Catalogs (over 500 pages each) for Royal Art Group in AL AIN - UAE.
