- Leading a team of 12 R&D packaging researchers in India, the Middle East & Africa region to deliver region targets in Key Focus areas (Margin Improvement via 20% Pack Material Cost Savings Projects, Support Supply chain through Ontime Initiative Technical Readiness, 100% Technical Specifications Accuracy and Zero Quality Incidents).
- Deployed ENOVIA™ PLM (Product lifecycle management) Software by Dassault Systèmes® in 7 production sites across IMEA region bringing user’s productivity to help by 80% Index vs previous technical specification systems with vertical startup and no risk on market initiative technical readiness.

Assignment Summary:

- Delivered ~3$MM yearly cost saving target by implementing various packaging material specification optimization projects that dropped packaging material bottom line costs as well as a reduction in warehousing and transportation cost.
- Delivered all packaging technical readiness to support go to market initiatives and artwork changes in Fabric care brands (Ariel, Tide & Bonux) with average 20 packaging initiatives projects per year.
- Delivered all design validation trails and rollout of all new packages in P&G Egypt plant for Fabric care products with excellence and without business interruption.
- Delivered ≥99% of technical specification accuracy across assignment period and maintain material quality system compliance and process control strategy at targets which delivered less than 0.5% of process reliability losses due to packaging material quality across all Fabric Care production lines.
- Developed a system to monitor and control all packaging material quality on production lines and keep all suppliers accountable for root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions of issues through active communication of complaints and follow-up on the resolution.

- Qualified all new formulations and raw material changes in Beauty Care category (Bar soap) in Egypt, Nigeria and Pakistan sites during the assigned period.
- Led a multifunctional taskforce (R&D, Engineering, operations & supply chain) to deliver a 20% cost reduction plan in formulation cost (+15 projects) across all sites in the region across two years span.
- Lead all upscale activities from pilot models at global R&D site to production plant lines for new formulas and delivered all TT&T (Technology Transfer and Training) plans to the operation, meeting all targets for vertical startup.
- Achieve 100% of quality assurance compliance targets in external audits for 3 consecutive years through rigor implementation of the methodology of process development and process control strategies at bar soap sites.
- Support business through various business continuity plans (qualify new raw material suppliers, Flexible formulas to react to commodities pricing changes, qualify formulas in different sites to secure sourcing, swift reaction to regulatory changes in formulations).

- Delivered 100% of technical and supply chain readiness criteria of all Bar Soap initiatives for (Camay, Safeguard & Zest) brands in Egypt site during the assigned period.
- Delivered 1 MM$ of cost saving projects in the formulation and raw materials spend pool for Bar Soap brands in Egypt site through full technical qualification and learning plans of new formulas/raw materials on production lines.
- Achieve a perfect score in QA audits 100% of specification and manufacturing batch records accuracy for all raw materials, test methods and formulations for all Bar Soap brands in Egypt site.
- Resolved two major regulatory change crises to Bar Soap operation through qualification of new raw materials (changes in specifications and sourcing countries).
- Full ownership of mixing area in Bar Soap operations and lead quality, safety, and operational excellence audit to maintain the area at target levels.
- Maintain skill level at target (more than 90%) less than 6 months from assignment including graduating from R&D School in Beauty Care R&D Center in China.

Production Line Manager at DSM Anti-Infectives

- Lead a team of 22 plant technicians at the Chemical synthesis department of production of Semi-Synthetic Penicillin’s per work instructions, GMP, SHE, ISO9001:2000 and company policy.
- Maintain Daily management systems at targets for the solvent recovery & purification processes of many chemical solvents like (Methylene Chloride, Isopropanol, Triethylamine, Ethyl acetate…) by column distillation method.
- 100% review of daily production batch records, work instructions, SOP's and implement production schedules aligned with planning teams.
- Led all in-process testing with QC department which includes various analytical techniques and instrumentation, such as gas & high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), volumetric titrations, Bulk density, particle size distribution, etc.
