Nagwa.
o Ensure the timely, high-quality content deployment.
o Verifying the publication requirements before deploying online (content
verification).
o Provide assistance to developer teams to support content additions, changes
and relunching.
▪ Transcript Quality Assurance
Handling correspondences with authors, editors, and reviewers to ensure a smooth workflow.
1. Raise Editorial Screening concerns to the Editors and follow up on the raised comments that were sent to the authors by the Editorial Quality System (EQS).
2. Make sure that approved manuscripts are auto assigned to the appropriate Editors or refer to the Publishing Editor to assign Editors manually.
3. Follow up on the editorial workflow at all stages to ensure timely completion of the process.
4. Act as a liaison between authors, editors and reviewers during the whole review process.
5. Act as a liaison between authors of accepted manuscripts and production unit in order to ensure receiving all materials required to proceed with the production cycle.
6. Check the submitted review reports to find any recommended citations, any offensive words, or any other major concern and update it before being delivered to the authors.
7. Check rejection comments, in case of direct rejection, to verify the rejection reason.
8. Work collaboratively with the Editorial Quality Assurance team in order to ensure that the manuscript and its review process adhere to the journal’s guidelines and policies.
9. Work collaboratively with Special Issues team in order to handle all cases related to launched Special Issues.
10. Work collaboratively with Information Technology Department in order to resolve complaints of all users.
