1. Maintain systems and procedures to track borrowed equipment and tools.
2. Observe and reinforces safety and housekeeping procedures and protocol within the laboratory.
3. Contribute to the development of the HCT by observing and implementing college and system- wide policies and procedures, and by participating in extra-curricular activities and community events.
4. Develop an awareness of and respect for the customs and cultures of HCT students and employees.
5. Aid staff and students in the purchasing procedures with regards of equipment and parts for student projects.
6. Coordination with other engineering programs.
7. Follow through the financial aspects with the finance department concerning purchases for projects.
8. Perform other related duties as assigned by the program chair.
1. Manages day-to-day operations of all teaching laboratories, including equipment preparation and maintenance, safety standards/training compliance.
2. Prepares and oversees equipment scheduled for use during laboratory teaching sessions.
3. Demonstrates care and use of equipment, according to health and safety standards and practices, to teaching staff and students.
4. Ensure that all equipment and operations are audited to ensure highest levels of adherence to health and safety protocols.
5. Supports teaching staff in the development and implementation of teaching modules and projects.
6. Trains teaching staff and students in application and use of new equipment.
7. Coordinates with curriculum management to determine equipment and consumables purchase priorities based on budget allowances, condition of existing equipment, and scheduled laboratory activities.
8. Implement any changes to the lab facilities necessary to accomplish technology education.
1. Prioritize opportunities & manage resource planning and allocation across projects to ensure achievement of project completion targets.
2. Assemble, oversee and report out on project pipeline, from project approval to project closure
3. Determines areas of improvement and where issues need to be escalated
4. Along with leadership and project leads, ensures that recommendations are implemented, compliance monitored, and benefits tracked
5. Implement standard risk management processes
6. Develop complex key performance indicators relevant to specific projects or across projects that facilitate efficient project monitoring
7. Defines, implements, and utilizes project management tools and processes
8. Responsible for developing, organizing and delivering training content to ensure project management processes are consistently applied
9. Monitors & documents improvement areas for the department & develops actions to improve as necessary
10. Recruits and develops high performance Project Managers as required to achieve results
11. Sustain business improvement results through the application of Lean, Six Sigma, ME2, Do It Right, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
12. Follows and observes all regulatory requirements (GMP’s, ISO, FDA, internal policies) applicable to engineering department

1. Deliver a range of teaching and assessment activities, including tutorials directed towards the delivery of subjects at undergraduate level.
2. Contribute to the development of appropriate teaching materials to ensure content and methods of delivery meet learning objectives.
3. Participate in the assessment process, using a variety of methods and techniques and provide effective, timely and appropriate feedback to students to support their learning.
4. Participate in the supervision of practical work, advising on skills, methods and techniques to assist the transfer of knowledge.
5. Contribute to the ongoing development and design of the curriculum, in a manner that supports a research led and scholarly approach to student learning.
6. Engage in professional development as appropriate and regularly update subject related knowledge base.
7. Undertake limited administrative duties as requested by the Head of Department.

9. Teach, lab assist and supervise courses in engineering department. Involved courses were:
a. As a teacher: Statics, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, Fluid mechanics, HVAC and Mechanics of materials.
b. As a Lab instructor: Computer applications, Engineering drawing, Thermo-Fluid Lab, Heat transfer and HVAC).
1. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
2. Address problems that might develop, between consultant / subcontractors
3. Coordinate with consultant on reviews for shop drawings, MEP related designs, HVAC, Fire Alarm / Fighting & provide solution options
4. Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
5. Assist in MEP, HVAC/Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting submittals / comments the submittals
6. Review scope of works for contractor including budgeting & justification of MEP change work order
7. Review installation of MEP, HVAC, Fire Alarm / Fighting works
8. Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
9. Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
10. Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
11. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.
1. Produce Plasma, LCD & CRT TVs, refrigerators and washing machines and ensure that all products meet quality and safety regulations and requirements.
2. Design new systems and processes for the introduction of new products in addition to improvement of existing ones.
3. Manage budgets and the recruitment of junior engineers.
4. Examine and tender for new equipment to ensure the highest quality at the best price;
5. Supervise junior engineers and labors and ensure effective communication and overall performance in order to avoid errors.
6. Organize plant start-up and shutdown schedules to ensure minimum loss of production time and profits.
7. Liaise with the research and development department to ensure the company is at the forefront of groundbreaking research.
8. keep up to date with current and developing trends in the Samsung mother company at a national and international level
9. Optimize and maintain production lines (PLC and Hardwire).
