Maintaining full charge of all accounting functions for company including Cost Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Fixed Assets, VAT, Inventory Control and Payroll. Manage staff of 5 and work closely with business managers to review costs, reconcile variances and identify areas for productivity and improvement.
• Leading a team responsible for preparation & finalization of Financial Statements including Balance sheet, Cash flow Statements, Profit & Loss accounts & Statement of changes in equity, variance analysis and detailed profit & cost analysis to give valuable insight of the business & timely information for commercial decisions of the business.
• Bank and POS reconciliations for the all banks and accounting for all the inter-company transactions reconciliations.
• Giving monthly presentations to the Top Management on the overall financial & non-financial aspects of the company based on the detailed analysis branch wise of the monthly financial reports & highlighting keys areas for achieving effectiveness & efficiencies & any discrepancies in cash collection and making recommendations relating to cost efficiency and other significant financial factors.
• Preparing tax (VAT) returns, estimating and tracking tax returns, completing regular (quarterly and annual) tax reports for all branches.
• Reviewing and verifying the Financial Statements of the clients following the International Standards (IFRS) & (IAS’s) and ensuring their compliance on Financial Statements.
• Ensuring proper books of accounts are kept and maintained by the client.
• Close review and monitoring of journals and posting of transactions to ensure they are complying to accounting policies and applying the Analytical and Substantive procedures where required.
