Carry out customer RFQ / tender review, scope definition, solution design, techno-commercial proposal writing, detailed costing, and end-to-end bid preparation activities-ICSS/PAS/PCS (DCS & SIS, Fire & Gas, BMS, System Virtualization)
Main Automation Contract (MAC) or ICSS (Integrated Control and Safety System) agreement documentation, costing, Exhibits, T&Cs, specification compliance
Raise appropriate techno-commercial queries, participate in bid clarification meetings or site surveys to gather and understand inputs. Respond to customer TQs after bid submission and revise proposals as needed
Work closely with sales / business team and customers in complete selling cycle, from opportunity inception till favorable closure. Work with Subject Matter Expert (SME’s) on technical aspects, competitive intelligence and solution alignment
Budget and proposal coordination with Cyber Security/Network security team, Alarm management, PIMS, PI interface and Process CCTV, Access Control etc.
Calculate and optimize manpower requirements and engage with Project Management Office (PMO) / Engineering teams on execution aspects. Prepare technical documents & plans and obtain formal approvals for submission with the bids
Liaison with suppliers / OEMs (mostly VMS/MPS, CCS, FACP/FAP, F&G Detectors etc., ) for 3rd party scope, offer evaluation and schedule. Work with sourcing team on vendor engagement and price negotiations
Responsible for the generation of all project proposal deliverables (Bill of Material, Table of Compliance, System Architecture, Technical Solution and Commercial Proposal) using various proposal tools ensuring accuracy and completeness of the financial estimates
Estimate detailed costs and collaborate with internal management on key aspects including pricing strategy
Identify techno-commercial risks and plan execution contingencies.
Flexible to travel to customer sites as well as to other offices for kick-off meetings, clarifications, site surveys, proposal development and review meetings in accordance with the agreed sales and proposal strategies
Supervise and act as mentor for a group of junior and intermediate level engineers/designers
