1. Performing, Checking / reviewing and ensuring technical accuracy and quality of Engineering Electrical deliverables such as design calculations, drawings, specifications, purchase requisitions, technical bid evaluations etc.
2. Managing electrical engineering work in different sections like depot, shelter substations, via duct, tunnel, elevated stations, shallow and deep underground stations.
3. Monitoring and controlling design and execution of electrical engineering work in streetscape/landscape for station and track premises.
4. Detail design and shop drawing review, to ensure contract specification and international standard compliance.
5. To work with the training coordinator to identify training requirements for current and future work.
6. Exposure to international standards like IEEE, ANSI, NEC, NFPA, NEMA, IEC related to electrical installation works.
7. Ensure timely review of all engineering deliverables.
8. Monitoring and controlling execution by tracking IR, MIR and raising NCR as required.
9. Reviewing material approval submittals, Factory acceptance test procedure, Site Acceptance Test procedure, method statements and ITPs.
10. Reviewing and giving feedback to EPC contractor for weekly/monthly progress reports.
11. Third rail commissioning test procedures. (Line continuity test and flash test).
12. Management of design packages to ensure timely delivery
13. Attend technical discussions/meetings. Mentoring junior employees / supporting the drafting team.
14. Attend inspections to ensure that works are constructed in accordance with the contract documentation and method statements.
15. Liaison with the client, contractor and design consultant representatives. Review contractor’s installation and method statements.

2. Incoming power service and MV Substation.
3. LV Distribution Network, Cables, Trays, and conduits.
4. Emergency power system.
5. UPS system.
6. Lighting Systems Design Criteria.
7. Fire detection and public addressing.

Role/Achievements:
1. Design of various building service systems including electrical lighting and power
distribution systems, electrical scheme preparation, cabling infrastructure for
voice, data and multimedia systems.
2. Design estimation and PMC of LED Street lighting with integrated tele
management system. (First of its kind in India)
3. Coordination with HVAC consultant for CFC building.

Role/Achievements: Design of various building services systems including electrical
lighting and power distribution systems, electrical scheme preparation, cabling
infrastructure for voice, data and multimedia systems, fire protection and life safety
systems, low current systems, entertainment systems etc. and preparation of BOQs for the
same.
