• Accountable for leading a team of cross-functional resources in the deployment of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies supporting TDBG businesses and guiding the team in executing LSS process improvement projects.

• Responsible for validating and summarizing data findings, evaluations, opportunities, assessments etc. for report out to executives across multiple levels as well as business partners.
• Conducting end to end lean evaluations on business processes utilizing tools such as Muda walk, Gemba walk, Value Stream Mapping etc. and compiling list of opportunities for improvements that are refined and transformed into projects.
• Responsible for ensuring department KPI’s (Product Fulfillment, TRIR, Labour Efficiency, Production Quality, Production Variance etc.) are met.
• Responsible for ensuring all department staff are on-boarded and trained adequately through creation of department specific training/on-boarding documentation detailing position requirements, expectations, safety considerations and all performance deliverables.
• Responsible for working in conjunction with Department Manger to develop the room staffing structure and leading the hiring process to ensure all open positions in department are filled as needed.
• Responsible for assisting the Room Manager in creating and managing development plans for direct reports (Production Assistants, Team Leads, Supervisors, Planning Team, Inventory Control team and Warehouse team).
• Responsible for overseeing the creation of daily/weekly/monthly production plans ensuring that all raw materials, labour and equipment needs are in place to fulfill 100% of plan.

• Responsible for coordinating, driving and owning all new product introductions and transfers by conducting line trials and developing specific parameters based on the plant’s equipment while ensuring the best quality, value and customer service to internal and external customers.

• Conducting technical and financial reviews for clients on eligible projects in an organized manner gathering appropriate data as required by the CRA (Canadian Revenue Agency).
• Utilizing technical report writing abilities to assist clients in writing concise technical reports encompassing project details adhering to CRA requirements.
• Utilizing company specific tax software to file client SR&ED claims ensuring accuracy of technical and financial data entered.
• Created Solidworks models for design of a custom lift truck by conducting dimensional analysis on existing parts and adapting each individual component according to new customer specifications.
• Created Solidworks assemblies for individual components e.g. muffler assembly, lift truck seating, brake lever assembly, push pedal assembly, control valve assembly, mounting brackets etc. Assemblies were created under stringent dimensional constraints without sacrificing functionality.
• Assisted technical lead as point of contact in analyzing Material Disposition Reports and developing appropriate solutions for Manufacturing Quality problems in Production on manufacturing plant floor thus improving product efficiency and reducing delays caused by non-conformances.
• Facilitated timely problem resolution of quality-related issues for Compressor Component Section liaising with the Engineering department accordingly thus arriving at agreed corrective actions for manufacturing discrepancies.
