First Year: I taught the IPC (International Primary Curriculum) and UK National curriculum schemes of work, primarily targeting the EYFS age group. These curricula cover all aspects of learning such as Literacy, Numeracy, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, Home Economics, Physical Education and PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education). They are built on hands on application of learnt skills in real life situations under the IPC structure. With regards to reading and writing, the students follow the “Jolly Phonics” scheme of work - a system that has been proven to be the best at enabling students to read and write at an early age.
Second Year: I taught Phonics using Letterland, Singapore Math and Science and an American Social Studies curriculum. In my experience, Letterland has a much more powerful impact on children and help them develop reading and writing skills much quicker.
I taught Collins Literacy, Collins Numeracy and Cambridge Science or KUW (Knowledge and Understanding of the World) for Year One students for the first year of the International Division according to the British National Curriculum.
I delivered a variety of English courses to children and adults starting February 2013 till the present day.
I was nominated for Operations Coordinator in September 2013 till February 2014.
I was promoted to Branch Manager from March 2014 till August 2014.
I taught Harcourt English, Science and Social Studies according to the American Curriculum from August 2011 till February 2013.
I taught Reading Skills and Phonemic Development for CDC (Child Development Center), Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten.
