○ Job role:
Assess existing processes and procedures, find improvement opportunities, design, develop, and re-engineer processes and procedures in line with the company’s strategy and priorities, and standardize all processes and procedures for all business units by developing and maintaining SOPs, WFS, OLAs, SLAs, and WIs and formulating policies and procedures manuals.
○ Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure operational excellence across all processes and procedures for all business units.
• Design and implement changes to processes that improve results, reduce costs, and eliminate different types of waste.
• Coordinate with departments and business units to develop, test, and refine business processes and practices.
• Assess internal processes and conduct benchmarking with best practices.
• Leverage data to drive continuous improvement in areas such as productivity,
quality, logistics, etc.
• Conduct a problem root-cause analysis and document key findings with recommendations for changes and improvement.
• Create a roadmap for tools and resources needed to ensure improvement in processes.
• Proactively address problem areas and improve efficiencies.
• Standardize all processes and procedures across business units by developing SOPs, OLAs, SLAs, WIs, and manuals.
• Train employees on SOPs, manuals, and work instructions.
• Identify KPIs of operational excellence and evaluate performance.
○ Key Responsibilities:
● Conduct data mining to improve process performance.
● Recommend and select appropriate improvement events and activities, incorporation with different Business Units heads to align improvements events with BUs strategies.
● Lead performance improvement programs design, planning and execution and ensure the cooperation between all stakeholders.
● Work with sponsors/leaders and team leaders to accomplish short & long term follow up for each event.
● Facilitate and monitor issues occurs during Performance Improvement activities and events through closure.
● Performs periodic performance reviews and provides performance reports.
● Conduct Business Unites processes’ analysis in terms of stockholders, Process steps, communication mechanisms and performance indicators.
● Identify process gaps, potential risks assessment and propose a new process design to stakeholders.
● Based on processes’ analysis, create or amend SOP documents.
● Secure attaining required approvals until publishing of new / updated SOPs.
● Provide consultative services (e.g., research relevant international standards) for GB Auto staff toward meeting standards of performance improvement, and organizational compliance.
● Collaborate with sponsors/leaders, team leaders, and team members to engage Business Units in communication about Performance Improvement strategies, and the relationship with the relevant units prior to improvement events.

I worked there as a part-time consultant and instructor, and in the meantime, I had the honor to work as a lean six sigma consultant in the following companies:

Brooklyn Business School is an academy of excellence for the design, delivery, and dissemination of training and professional development programs in a variety of domains and fields. I worked there as a Lean Six Sigma and TQM part-time instructor.
○ Key Responsibilities:
● Responsible for applying various performance improvement and lean manufacturing techniques/methodologies through Juhayna manufacturing facilities.
● Provide needed on-job training for factories team members, spread improvement culture within the teams by motivating - coaching them on manufacturing best practices.
● Ensure consistency of any applied lean project/activity.
● Study production sequence, workflow to be able to determine and allocate kaizen efforts.
● Study and review submitted production daily report to analyze points of weaknesses to start pointing improvement projects/events.
● Lead daily review meeting on production shop floor, generate action plan resulted from this meeting, lead weekly review meeting in plant to follow-up action plan generated from daily meeting.

● Implement different lean & six sigma tools and techniques through El-Sewedy cables group several factories.
● Lead improvement projects which aim to reduce costs, improve process efficiency, increase productivity, decrease defect rates, improve quality, decrease delivery times, improve employee morale, …etc.
● Support management to change the culture and mindset of people toward day-to-day continuous improvement.
● Conduct awareness and training sessions to employees in lean & six sigma tools and techniques.
● Introduce the basic lean tools to the shop floor level such as 5S, Visual Management, Standard operation procedures, 8 type of waste, Process mapping, Lead Time breakdown, Takt Time, …etc.
● Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
● Undertake business process analysis, statistical analysis for improvement projects.
● Lead cross-functional teams to achieve improvement projects’ targets and to implement lean & six sigma tools and techniques.

While I was serving as a reserve officer in the Egyptian armed forces after graduation, I joined military production as a production engineer in the 27th military factory, which produces bullets, electrical panels, and different electrical devices. I worked there as the leader of the bullet casing production line and acted as the commander of an army unit that contained more than 80 soldiers.
