Project Description:
The Abu Dhabi International Airport Midfield Terminal Complex (MTC) is being constructed to cope with increasing passenger traffic
The MTC is located between the airport's two runways, which also gives the terminal its name. The new complex will provide a full terminal building, passenger and cargo facilities, and duty­ free shops and restaurants for a total capacity of 27-40 million people a year. Piers will accommodate up to 65 aircraft, including the Airbus A-380. 49 Gate Houses and 106 Passenger Boarding Bridges. Baggage Belt is over 28 km and Baggage Delivery Time is 15-20 mints. 150 Check in counters and First and Business Class dedicated Check in and Lounges
The MTC terminal building will be one of the region's largest and most architecturally iconic structures. It will be 742, 000 square meters in size. The central space of the terminal building will be large enough to hold three full-sized football pitches while the check-in hall features a ceiling 52 meters tall at its highest point. 74, 000 t of Steel Structure with Roof Span is 319 m at widest point. 672, 000 m3 of concrete, 23, 000 External glazing panels, it will be with Total cooling load 146MW by 309 AHUs and with connected load 115 MW by (22KV) 36 Substations The complex will include up to 31, 384 square meters of retail and food and beverage outlets. These are set around a 1, 000 square meter indoor garden, another first for the region, which will host a wide variety of landscapes and species from region and beyond.
All the works for airside include all necessary items including Earthworks, Pavements, markings, drainage, general utilities, Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL), Gate Service such as Flood lighting, VDGS and 400 HZ and structural works/ systems for the airside tunnel, aircraft fuel hydrant system and apron utilities including potable water distribution, chilled water distribution, 22kv medium voltage and low voltage distribution, sub-stations, communications distribution and fire main distribution, Traffic Tunnel, Automated People Mover (APM) Tunnel, Automated People Mover (APM) Head House Building.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
•Perform survey work and survey work the direction and guidance for the Supervision surveyors.
•Checked Survey Shop Drawings.
•Checked all setting out work at field.
•Supervise survey party staff.
•Rotate staff assignments to develop the skills and qualifications of the Supervision Staff.
•Record all measurements, road readings, and calculation neatly and accurately in field books as the work progresses.
•Coordinate with the contractor’s surveyor Engineers on work priorities and schedules.
•Report discrepancies or technical problems to the Resident Engineer.
•With the contractor, perform joint measurements of the completed work for payment.
•Check completed work for conformance to the line and grade required by the project plans in coordination with the inspectors assigned to the item of work.

Project Description: Abu Dhabi - Al Ain Road
Construction of about 5 km on both sides of the interchange dual c/w 4-lane & 2 shoulders 3 m each; (total width 21 m each direction), median width 6-8 m.
The exiting road is 4-lane each direction on Abu Dhabi side of the interchange and 3 lane each direction on Al Ain side of the interchange (total width 17m each direction).

•Dubai - Tarif Road
Construction of twin two span post tensioned box girder bridge total length about 75m, and (total width 27m each direction), (4 lanes + 2 shoulders 3 m each + Acc/Dec lane + 1.5 m F.P.) and 8 m wide median.
Construction of 5.2 km Road on both sides of the interchange dual C/W 4-lane & 2-shoulder 3.0 each; (total width 21m each direction), median of varies width 20 m at Dubai end, 8 m at main bridge and 13 m at Tarif end.
The existing bridge is 11 m in width each direction (2 lanes + 2 shoulders 2 m each). The road is dual C/W road 2- lane each direction on Tarif side, and 2-lane expanding to 4-lane each direction on Dubai side. Currently trucks are not allowed to use the bridge except with permit.
• Flyover from Abu Dhabi to Dubai
Construction of flyover from Abu Dhabi to Dubai - length about 1728 m and width 17m (2 lanes + 2 shoulders and foot path). Total No. of spans 16, max span length 84m & max pier height about 18 m.
Existing road from Abu Dhabi to Dubai is loop road about 7m in width.
• Flyover from Al Ain to Tarif
Construction of flyover from Abu Dhabi to Dubai - length about 1728 m and width 17m (2 lanes + 2 shoulders and foot path). Total No. of spans 17, max span length 70m & max pier height about 16.6 m.
Existing road from Abu Dhabi to Dubai is loop road about 7m in width.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
•Perform survey work and the direction and guidance for the surveyors.
•Establish primary horizontal and vertical control point including reference ties for re-establishing the points in the field.
•Checked all setting out drawing.
•Checked all setting out work at field.
•Supervise survey party staff.
•Rotate staff assignments to develop the skills and qualifications of the surveyors.
•Record all measurements, road readings, and calculation neatly and accurately in field books as the work progresses.
•Coordinate with the contractor’s surveyor on work priorities and schedules.
