As an account manager, my roles and responsibilities include (but may not be limited to)
• Business development: Identified and established key accounts to secure additional revenue streams; followed up on deals, verified correct delivery of contractual obligations, and updated the company the category manager regarding milestones and KPIs.
• Procurement: Manage all the procurement process for the home & kitchen category.
• Seller performance: Work with the seller performance team to seller performance results and execute with sellers accordingly
• Seller fulfillment: Track seller orders and ensure that all sellers are fulfilling all orders within TAT, are keeping enough stock, have correct pricing, are accepting returns correctly, etc
• Catalog: Work with sellers to increase catalog size in line with business requirements.
• Campaign/Promotion management: Work with internal teams as well as sellers to manage their campaign portfolio.
• Seller Meets: Conduct meetings with sellers with aim to discuss growth opportunities, understand issues being faced and communicate any areas of improvement for the seller. Design and schedule a monthly meeting calendar with sellers and share with marketplace team. Post meeting, share minutes of the meetings with details on attendees, venue, time and points of discussion, with marketplace team in cc.
• Content: Work with sellers to improve and enhance the content of their products which will help them achieve better conversions and sales. While our in-house team will help sellers with content enrichment, the best source of good content should
• Commission Rates: In most scenarios, sellers will work with us on the default commission rates. However, if a seller wants to change commission rates and is deemed as important by the business, drive the negotiations and implement changed commission rates, after prior approval from category manager.
•Planning product ranges and preparing sales and stock plans in conjunction with buyers.
•Forecasting profits and sales, and optimizing the sales volume.
•Controlling stock levels based on forecasts for the season.
•Analyzing every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colors or styles) and ensuring that they reach their full potential.
