Managed the execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up for New Assiut Combined Power Plant
which consists of:
Eight (8) CTGs, GE (PG 9171E) duel fired gas turbine generator equipment package with all required
balance of plant systems.
Two (2) STGs (GE Steam turbine generator equipment package - D200) including all required balance of
plant systems.
Eight (8) Duel Pressure Doosan HRSGs, including all required balance of plant systems.
Two (2) Spig Air Cooled Condensers.
Chemical feed systems.
Power generated is stepped up through main transformers, and fed to the utility 220 KV grid via an
extension to the gas insulated switchgear (GIS) switchyard.
Leading the mechanical commissioning team, consists of 15 mechanical commissioning engineers, and more than
50 supervisors and technicians.
Performed the commissioning activities of the Steam Turbine Generator (STG) until the first synchronization on
06 June 2018.
Prepared the whole plant Commissioning and operating procedures for all BOP systems such as Feed water
system, condensate system, closed cooling system and demineralized water system .... etc.
Finalized the Lube, seal, hydraulic & lifting oil Flushing of two modules within 3 weeks.
Finalized the commissioning of hydraulic and lube oil systems within one week.
Coordinated and supervised the successful completion of 8 Doosan HRSGs Chemical Cleaning & Steam Blow.
Complete the commissioning and hot cleaning of Air Cooled Condenser (ACC) within only 5 days
Finished the commissioning activities of 8 Braden-Europe B.V. diverter dumper.
Identified hundreds of punch items during the pre-commissioning and commissioning walks down and closed
them with the construction and QC team.
Assists the Project Manager in contacts with Client representatives for the handover of the plant .
Ensures the preparation of final reports and certificates
Make sure all systems are designed, installed, tested, operated, & maintained according to the operational
requirements of the owner or final client
5 Million EGP saving every year through managing the company fabrication workshop of the pressure reduction
stations instead of buying them.
The monthly production of the pressure reduction stations exceeds 25 units/months through preparing the
complete design and workshop drawings (2D & 3D).
Leading the construction team and provide them with all the required technical documents such as drawings,
manuals, descripted welding map and instructions.
All the technical quotations of the requested materials is studied well and followed until the final purchase order.
Supervising and monitoring the construction and welding processes through General Foreman or Supervisors.
Performing the workshop pneumatic & hydrostatic test as per ASME.
Preparing all method of statements, Pre-commissioning static checks & Commissioning procedures.
Investigating problems diagnosing/repairing faults and troubleshooting.
Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site.
Responsible for the construction and installation of the pressure reduction station and pneumatic pressure regulator
of the natural gas.
Designing, testing, setting, commissioning and maintenance for pneumatic pressure regulators of the natural gas.
Studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; performing acceptance tests SAT.
Preparing all method of statements, Pre-commissioning static checks & Commissioning procedures.
Comply with Project Specifications, Commissioning Plans and Procedures.
Investigating problems diagnosing/repairing faults and troubleshooting.
Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site.
Supervising the construction of natural gas pipelines and networks (Steel / Polyethylene) for factories, commercial
buildings and restaurants in Industrial zones / Residential areas in 6thOctober City to ensure the work is executed to
the standard’s specifications.
Reviewing the clients specifications, work scope and prepare detailed execution plan for project.
Planning and scheduling the work and efficiently organizing the site / facilities in order to meet projects deadlines.
Attending regular meetings with clients and consultants for keeping them informed of project's progress up to date.
Supervising and monitoring the site labor force through General Foreman or Supervisors.
Monitoring the work of any subcontractors to complete the work as per customer's satisfaction.
Ensuring that welders are using correct approved and qualified welding procedure.
Visual Inspection reports preparation and NDT coverage requirements as per code and inspection test plan.
Overseeing on quality control, quantity of material used and safety matters on the site.
Prepare necessary paperwork for the completion of work and get it authorized by the client after their inspection.
Work as part of an integrated Contractor/Client.
Identify key pump selection criteria by direct interaction with EPC’s or end user
Identify key product applications and product features along with identification of new potential applications.
Acquisition of new customers, maximum exhaustion of customer potential.
Negotiating tender, contract terms and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions.
Attending regular meetings with clients and EPC’S for keeping them informed of project's progress up to date.
Identify pumped liquid physical properties and match with available product materials.
Identify electrical power requirements and match to available product Characteristics.
Prepare proposals for customers within deadlines and respond to technical clarifications timely and accurately.
Administer all orders whether for pumps, parts or services.
Support Field Sales Engineers, Area Sales Managers, and representatives in all aspects of business with the
objective of increasing sales and improving customer service.
Follow with factory to ensure smooth order processing and assist to resolve any outstanding issues.
Follow up all quotations and proposals submitted.
Master Thesis: “Thermo-economic analysis of combined cycle MED-TVC desalination system” Research/thesis focused on enhanced power plant performance analysis, implement program that can calculate the performance and part load effect on combined cycle power plant consists of Gas Turbine, HRSG and Steam Turbine attached with MED-TVC desalination system.
