1. perform routine analytical on -line testing in compliance with the predetermined sampling plan to ensure that finished beverages produsts meets quality standard .

2. running proportioning equipments (mixers) and maintaining accurate records and perform necessary adjustments to products batches .

3. Monitor and advice on all sanitization and hygiene procedures to ensure compliance to company standards and local authority standards.

4. Develop a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control point system for reducing or eliminating the microbiological risk to product quality.

5. Inform production and relevant operations personnel of approval, adjustments or corrective quality measures to be taken, where necessary, to prevent production of defective product.

6. Ensure that records are maintained in an organized manner for quick and effective access.

7. Maintain the laboratory facilities, equipment and reagents/media in a sanitary condition to ensure accurate and precise results are obtained. And ensure that an efficient work environment is maintained with equipment in the optimum condition for use and with reduced risk of accidents.

8. Ensure that the instrumentation used is correctly calibrated according to agreed procedure.

9. Train new employees to perform tasks in a timely and efficient manner, as required.

10. Serve as a Quality Manager back up to replace supervisor and other analysts
