Reporting to Quality Director with the following Responsibilities:
• Monitors and evaluates quality elements of the project. Evaluates contractor/supplier compliance with quality and contractual specification requirements.
• Attends and participates in project meetings and stays abreast of quality requirements, issues/concerns, and scheduling.
• Review Contractor's Project Quality Plan submittals as well as Daily, Weekly, and Monthly QA/QC Reports.
• Review of ITPs and necessary guidance for implementation at the site Review of Supplier prequalification and material submittals related to Civil and Architectural disciplines.
• Conduct Contractor's Joint Weekly Site Visit and submit a report to the Contractor regarding comments and observations and Make recommendations for improvement.
• Monitoring & reporting the implementation and achievement of the quality objectives.
• Conduct random site visits and issue to Contractor Site Observation Report (SOR) or Non-Conformance Report (NCR)
• Performing routine inspections and quality tests.
• Ensuring that standards and safety regulations are observed.
• Addressing and discussing issues and proposed solutions with superiors
- Monitoring Company’s compliance with requirement of contract scope of work & technical specifications.
- Prepare/Review quality control plans, inspection and test plans, Method Statements and related Documents. - Conducting and supervising all kinds of testing in laboratories including concrete, soil, aggregates and asphalt including mix designs and job mix formula and maintain all the equipment with periodic calibrations. - Study contract specifications, drawings & BOQ & come up with selection of materials combination for specific purposes (Especially for Earthworks, Asphalt and Concrete).
- Maintain inspection check list and conduct inspecting of ongoing work.
- Ensure compliance of quality plan, procedures and comply with inspection and test plan.
- Coordinate activities of independent tested agencies requirement related field test if needed.
- Issue R.F.I. for finished work activities & Reporting of non-conformances. - Prepare & follow-ups material submittals & update status per project as per requirements. - Back up all the submittal status as required in the company ISO 9001:2008 for the quantity management system.
- Assuring the traceability of uniquely identified critical material while materials are in storage.
- The monitoring and recording of the condition and state of preservation of materials release from Storage for processing and construction.
- Reporting of non-conformances, follow up corrective action and continual improvement of work.
- Coordination with consultants and sub-contractors for Quality & material issues and follow ups of the pending issues.
