General Electricity & Water Corporation, Kahramaa (27, 345, 000 QAR, about 5.9 million euros)
Design, construction and technical assistance to the operation of a desalination plant by reverse
osmosis, as well as the execution of civil works
Negotiate contract terms, scope of work, milestones, timelines, and pricing, aiming to
secure mutually beneficial agreements (claims, snag list, taking over certificate…)
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, and
contractual obligations
Bank reconciliation, general bookkeeping, treasury management,
Oversee the financial management of subcontractors and suppliers, including approving
payment requests
Supervision and management of the accounting and tax obligations and audits
Monitor financial performance, analyzing variances, identifying risks, and implementing
corrective actions and cost control measures as needed
Preparation and management of financial reports, including P&L, cash flow projections,
and balance sheets, to provide regular updates to the head office finance director
Manage project cash flows, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet project
requirements
Employee management, monthly payroll (WPS system)
Contract: Dhaka Water Supply Sector Development Project (DWSSDP) for Rehabilitation of
Distribution Networks of 509 km of pipelines (32.3M USD)
Accounts Payable/ Receivable supervision
Supervision and management of the accounting and tax obligations in Bangladesh
Performing Internal Payment Certificates. Preparation of monthly financial statements
reports as required by the head office in Spain
Stock control of construction machinery, warehouse organization, calculation of orders
of material according the design and implementation, with the local custom regulations.
Logistic control for the imported material
Responsible for running all aspects of the business focusing on control, proper stocking,
set-up and exceptional customer service. Staff management, billing, cash management,
payments, and coordination of event logistics.
