Support Business Areas by providing financial information and reports (e.g., budgeting, forecasting, preparation of various management reports, etc.).
Develop and assess financial models to support financial objectives and analyze opportunities.
Prepare vendors’ assessments by analyzing their financial statements and calculating the ratios.
Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with all related units to achieve the goals.
Assist with annual budget and strategic planning processes in addition to the cashflow forecasts.
Support CFO and managers on finance-specific issues and advise on business planning assumptions, trade-offs and opportunities (investments, loans, cashflow forecast, etc.).
Set financial KPIs and strategic initiatives with corporate strategy departments and assist in achieving the best ultimate results.
Maintain a cost optimization culture across the organization.
Add value by creating and implementing a development plan for finance staff to meet CFO’s objectives and goals.
Supervise the implementation of IFRS (IFRS16, IFRS15, IFRS9, etc.).
Ensure the finance department is compliant with the external and internal audit requirements and all other regulators (GAZT, GAB, etc.).
Maintain positive and professional relationships with Investment Managers (Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, etc.) and clients.
Create Financial formulas using Excel to produce financial reports and to perform comprehensive data analysis using advanced functions (Vlookup, Solver, Macros, Pivot tables, etc.).
Use Bloomberg terminal in a daily basis for confirmation and analysis purposes.
Attend training courses to improve the performance (Bank Debt, Client Service, Derivatives, Excel).
Communicate and coordinate with Corporate Action department and Fund Accountants and all other operating departments.
Prepare and review daily reconciliations of accounts, including trades, position and cash.
Resolve discrepancy between the company and broker/counterparty records and produce month-end NAV packages for clients.
Understand financial instruments to verify security payments and risk management reporting and analyze daily portfolio pricing.
