➢ Prepare the tender cost estimation, such as man-hour estimates, materials,
construction equipment all conforming with the project specifications & ensure
pricing inputs are supported by adequate Basis of Estimate and Bill of Quantities.
➢ Study the tender drawings/bulletins/clarification responses from client and reflect
the same to suppliers/vendors/subcontractors to get the offers as per final &
revised information from client.
➢ Research, design and create new products, present designs and perform
demonstrations of product prototypes for the approval of clients.
➢ Use computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-assisted engineering (CAE)
software to create prototypes and drawing of new projects.
➢ Designing and drafting of different mechanical elements and ideas which is
useful in submitting the proposal and for production related laser cutting,
shearing, rolling etc.
➢ Manage in-house production and sites to ensure high quality products and
punctual delivery, handover.
➢ Procurement of materials and consumables for production and stock.
➢ After sending technical or/and commercial and during the course of technical and
commercial evaluation by the Client, prepare the reply to the clarification
requests issued by the Client regarding the submitted designs, tender and attend
post clarification meeting.
➢ Prepare Project Execution Plan/Method statements by providing draft proposal
data to milestone and participate in milestone schedule preparation.
Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.
Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults.
Creating finite element models of various parts based on the analysis result, assembling the same with respect to linear and non-linear structural domain.
Diagnosing breakdown problems; fitting new parts and making sure equipment is
working correctly.
Carrying out quality inspections on jobs; Liaising with client departments, customers
and other engineering colleagues.
Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components; controlling
maintenance tools, stores and equipment. Monitoring and controlling maintenance
costs.
Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs; Improving health and
safety policies and procedures. Working with specialist equipment, such as
programmable logic controllers (PLC), which control machinery on factory assembly
lines.
