Support Line Management in the investigation, recording and reporting of all incidents to identify Immediate and Systems Causes and developing Corrective Actions and lessons learned and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence;
• Facilitate development of, participate in, and conduct periodic reviews of Risk Assessments to ensure that all HSE hazards are identified and adequately addressed;
• Verify that an effective, efficient and trained platform emergency response organization is in place, co-ordinate exercises and perform leadership assigned duties in accordance with the emergency response plan;
• Motivate Line Supervisors to hold safety in the highest priority;
• Proactively carry out the tasks on HSE aspects of the drilling activities;
• Internal training and coaching sessions to advance and promote positive safety culture within line operations;
• Advice and assistance to Line Managers and Supervisors on all aspects of HSE concerning the drilling;
• Conduct safety meetings and stand downs, provide safety presentations to all platform personnel etc.
• Advise and support with verification for the site manager and well site leader in meeting Clint’s (BP exploration) HSE Policies, Standards, Practices and Guidelines and legal and regulatory requirements;
• Monitor maintenance standards, integrity and certification for firefighting, lifesaving and other safety equipment;
• Effectively liaise with all relevant site/office based teams regarding HSE planning, actions, monitor and report HSE performance/incidents
Maintain full accountability for handling all aspects of HSE activities, in compliance with HSEQ policies, standards, and procedures. Apply strategic planning and management skills toward consistently achieving critical deadlines. Actively contribute to the accurate review of safety procedures, as well as the PTW system to execute good oilfield practices. Track compliance with HSEQ plans and interface documents, safe systems of work and PPE requirements, while ensuring optimum condition of emergency equipment. Demonstrate solid communication skills in responding to the base HSEQ advisor on all issues. Conduct STOP / safety tour and submit reports.
Monitor HSE annual goals & objectives
Advice and assist in incident control during major accidents or emergencies on site, investigates incidents and prepares assessments and reports
Develop and maintain site plans, emergency procedures and controls
Assess and maintain the laws and regulations and requirements of Safety and Environmental Risks, update and promote actions to accomplish them
Coordinate allocation of adequate stock of safety and emergency equipment and protective clothing are available at all times.

To ensure that all safety measures included in the HSE Plan have been carried out;
Monitors and facilitates the activities of maintenance and construction crews carrying out work under permit to work system to ensure SMS compliance
To ensure that all construction safety systems and equipment are in place, fully operational and correctly serviced;
Monitoring of the application of safe working practices and emergency procedures;
Monitoring offshore construction activities and advising construction supervisors on related occupational safety matters;
Developing safe work procedure system based on field job safety analyses (JSA)
To verify that permit to works have been carried out properly;
Developing and administering of in-house safety related trainings for a multi-lingual workforce and for new employees;
