Duties Description:
* Handling all the contractual correspondences and contract administration
activities with the Employer’s Representative.
* Negotiating and awarding subcontractors and suppliers packages.
* Prepare monthly progress report and progress claims.
* Review and update the risk register on a monthly basis.
* Prepare and submit all cost variation claims and extension of time claims for the
project.

Duties Description:
* Project manage medium to large capital works project and oversee project staff.
* Monitor the overall progress of the project and track project milestones and
deliverables
* Assist in the planning, procurement, engagement of subcontractors and
supervision required for the delivery of medium to large based capital works
projects.
* Liaise with other project personnel throughout the execution and delivery of
capital works projects.
* Assist with the preparing, evaluation, and assessment of quotations and tenders
for delivering capital works projects.
* Identify and resolve any technical issues throughout the execution of projects

Project included
* Soil classification by using visual tactile method
* Design of the residential footing by using the soil classification data
Duties Description
* Classify the soils according to the depth and ultimately to calculate the surface
heave (ys)
* Design the footing for residential building according to surface heave values and
by using Australian Standard AS-2870
* Soil classification and calculation of various parameters of the soil such as:
Instability Index, Soil Suction, Surface Heave and Plasticity Index. Later, I had to
use bore log calculation to design the residential footing
* I had to prepare the footing structural drawings using computer software
(AutoCAD)
2. WATER DISTRIBUTION NETWORK DESIGN July 2007
During Master of Civil and Structural Engineering, Supervisor Professor Angus Simpson
Project included
* Estimation of water demand on various nodes
* Design of most economical pipe network by trial and error method and later on using
Genetic Algorithm with the aid of software OPTIMIZER and EPANET
* Design of pipe connections like Pressure Control Valve (PRV) and Flow Control
Valve (FCV) by satisfying the minimum allowable pressure constraints for all
estimated various demands
* Determine the total length of the network and the percentage contribution of cost of
each pipe to the total cost
3. DESIGN OF MULTI-STOREY REINFORCED CONCRETE BUILDING Nov 2005
