A. Aqaba Grain Silos Project
* The project consists of the construction of 28 concrete Silos with the total
capacity of 100, 000 m³ of Grain with all associated auxiliary facilities and
Mechanical equipment.
* Project Duration: Approximately 3 years started in January 2013.
* Project Total Value: Over $ 50 Million Jordanian Dinars.
Duties Description:
* Handling all the contractual correspondences and contract administration
activities with the Employer’s Representative.
* Negotiating and awarding subcontractors and suppliers packages.
* Prepare monthly progress report and progress claims.
* Review and update the risk register on a monthly basis.
* Prepare and submit all cost variation claims and extension of time claims for the
project.
* Identify and resolve the technical issues and perform the site supervision.
* Oversee the overall works progress and track milestones.
* Coordinate the site activities and oversee project staff.
* Attend biweekly and monthly meetings with the Employer’s Representative to
discuss the progress of the works and resolve pending issues.

A. Crawley Centro Plaza Shopping Complex
* The project consists of the construction of 5 floors reinforced concrete mega
structure with total area of approximately 80, 000 square meters and a car park
with the capacity of over 1500 car bays internally and externally.
* Project Duration: Approximately 3 years.
* Project Total Value: Over $ 250 Million Australian Dollars.
. The construction of approximately 600 reinforced concrete residential units
in Newman - Western Australia complete with all the infrastructure and
road works.
* Project total value: $180 Million Australian Dollars
* Project Duration: Approximately 4 years. Project started in 2014 and expected to
be completed in 2018.
Duties Description:
* Project manage medium to large capital works project and oversee project staff.
* Monitor the overall progress of the project and track project milestones and
deliverables
* Assist in the planning, procurement, engagement of subcontractors and
supervision required for the delivery of medium to large based capital works
projects.
* Liaise with other project personnel throughout the execution and delivery of
capital works projects.
* Assist with the preparing, evaluation, and assessment of quotations and tenders
for delivering capital works projects.
* Identify and resolve any technical issues throughout the execution of projects
* Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones throughout the life cycle of
projects.
* Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, tender and material testing
documents.
* Prepare quality control documents and Inspection Test Plans for each activity of
the works.
* Monitor weekly actual works complete against programmed work gaunt charts
during the execution and delivery of works.
* Undertake on site condition inspections, reporting and assessment of civil,
structural and maritime based facilities.
* Assist with the preparation, updating and maintaining of 10 year rolling asset
management plans, budgets and strategies for buildings, roads, and maritime
structures owned by the Department of Transport.
* Assist with preparation of the condition assessment reports for the Department of
Transport’s assets.
* Assist with the evaluation, development, and reporting of whole of life asset
management strategies for civil, structural, and maritime facilities.
* Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents and
review the safety, quality and environmental management plans.
* Assist with the evaluation and assessment of quotations and tenders for delivering
capital works projects.
* Assist in the planning, procurement, engagement of subcontractors and

1. EXPANSIVE SOIL & FOOTING DESIGN March 2008
During Master of Civil and Structural Engineering, Supervisor Professor Mark Jaksa
Project included
* Soil classification by using visual tactile method
* Design of the residential footing by using the soil classification data
Duties Description
* Classify the soils according to the depth and ultimately to calculate the surface
heave (ys)
* Design the footing for residential building according to surface heave values and
by using Australian Standard AS-2870
* Soil classification and calculation of various parameters of the soil such as:
Instability Index, Soil Suction, Surface Heave and Plasticity Index. Later, I had to
use bore log calculation to design the residential footing
* I had to prepare the footing structural drawings using computer software
(AutoCAD)
2. WATER DISTRIBUTION NETWORK DESIGN July 2007
During Master of Civil and Structural Engineering, Supervisor Professor Angus Simpson
Project included
* Estimation of water demand on various nodes
* Design of most economical pipe network by trial and error method and later on using
Genetic Algorithm with the aid of software OPTIMIZER and EPANET
* Design of pipe connections like Pressure Control Valve (PRV) and Flow Control
Valve (FCV) by satisfying the minimum allowable pressure constraints for all
estimated various demands
* Determine the total length of the network and the percentage contribution of cost of
each pipe to the total cost
3. DESIGN OF MULTI-STOREY REINFORCED CONCRETE BUILDING Nov 2005

* Structural Analysis and Design of Multi-storey Reinforced Concrete Residential
Frame Building
* Computing the loads acting on the structure
* Analyzing the structure according to different loading conditions like factored
dead, live loads and wind load
* Designing each structural member (slabs, beams, columns, and footings) on the
basis of structural analysis results
