Position: Procurement Officer - March/2008 to Till Date.
Job duties:
• Maintain records of Materials ordered and received and the procurement relevant documents.
• Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview with them in order to determine products present and future availability.
• Perform Vendor Evaluation for all suppliers and Service providers, and maintain list of approved suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Initiate the purchasing process through receiving Material Requisition (MR) on the basis of Procurement Schedule. Review requisition orders in order to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.
• Prepare the comparative statement of price, quality, delivery terms and payment terms.
• Evaluation of quotations from vendors and negotiate the price with best payment terms for the company.
• Maintain list of materials and it's rates.
• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders with the selected vendor and get the Approval from company higher authority person,
• Monitoring the usage of material and store consumables stocks.
• Resolve vendor or contractor grievance, and claims against suppliers.
• Control purchasing department budgets. Submit the weekly purchase reports.
• Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Supplier and subcontractors Invoice verified and Transmit the relevant documents to accounts
