BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
a.) Expand Network - Develops the assigned territory.
• Performs and manages franchise acquisitions to make our services more visible and accessible in areas that Air21 and FEDEX is not present.
• To tap established retail chains to expand the Air 21 network in areas that no franchisee is interested or available.
b.) Partner Management - Responsible for the direction, supervision, and coordination of all existing partners in the assigned areas.

• Meets with applicants for franchising and Air 21 tie-up and performs preliminary evaluation of the applicant.
• Conducts site evaluation of proposed locations for Mail and More outlets.
• Performs business industry and intelligence reports.
• Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation.
• Responds to client's proposals and requests in a timely manner.
• Makes regular calls to existing and potential partners to ensure continued customer satisfaction and demonstrates new products and services.
• Maintains records of customer activities and files to ensure proper call frequency and necessary follow-up in resolving concerns raised by Partners.
• Monitors and evaluates sales territory productivity of each Mail and More outlets.
• Submits reports on a timely manner.
• May perform other related function at a similar level of skill and complexity from time to time.
Area and Responsibilities: • Area of coverage Roxas City, Philippines as in-base covering the two major hospitals including nearby Medical clinics and also covering Kalibo as my out-base area from August 2008 to June 2009. Based in Iloilo City, June 2009 to July 2010 covering the whole of Panay Island.
• Products promoted are Cardio-Metabolic lines for hypertensive, stroke and diabetic patients.
• Medical Practitioner targets are Cardiologist, Nephrologists; General Practitioner and selected Internal Medicine Medical Doctor's.
Typical work activities:
• Arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling;
• Organizing conferences for doctors and other medical staff;
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administration staff e.g. receptionists;
• Managing budgets (for catering, outside speakers, conferences, hospitality, etc);
• Planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables. This may involve working with the area sales team or discussing future targets with the area sales manager.
• Regularly attending company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings;
• Keeping up with the latest clinical data supplied by the company and interpreting, presenting and discussing this data with health professionals during presentations;
• Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products;
