Main Functions & Responsibilities: Heat Treatment & Production Specialist assigned to Heat Treatment Line, Upsetting Line and NDT Line as Senior Process Engineer for Steel Pipe Production
Develop of Heat Treatment Process for all tubulars products, this includes stablishing process parameters, validation of process & products as per different International Standards (API, ASTM, SASS, others) and Customer Requirements.
Develop Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma Projects focused on continuous improving of process, product quality and productivity rates.
Develop and Performing of Training Plan for NDT and Heat Treatment Staff (Operators, Inspectors and Production Supervisors).
Evaluate the major delays and operational issues and apply different mythologies to reduce/eliminate them in systematic way.
Prepare the statistical assessment of process to determine the accuracy& precision of process and their respective action plan in case of any deviation of process.
Establish the best Preventive Maintenance Routines and Standards through of implementation of Work Teams Maintenance - Production - Quality Departments.
Prepare Evaluation of Cost related with main operative’s losses: yield (raw material), rework cost due reworking, delay cost (breakdowns and failure equipment), bad quality costs, others.

HEAT TREATMENT HEAD / ARCELORMITTAL TUBULAR PRODUCT
Main Functions & Responsibilities:
Establish, design and develop continuo improvement projects in the areas of product quality, production and safety for Heat Treatment, Threading and Coupling Shop plants, and according to production requirements, Quality - Safety - Environment standards & policies, and any other guidelines established as per Strategic Plan of the company.
Establish the preventive maintenance plan for equipment in base of exhaustive analysis of delays and KPI’s.
Develop technical solutions for improving conditions of hygiene and safety.
Serve as Technical/Operational Support to
Main Functions & Responsibilities:
Planning, coordinate, control and monitoring of all production activities relating with the Pipe Heat Treatment & Finishing plants for OCTG & Line Pipe Products.
Ensure the performance of production activities according to product specs, quality & customer requirements, following the productivity’s KPI and maximizing the use of resources as appropriate production cost.
Analyze the processes and products in order to determine improvements requirements.
Ensure all production lines in charge compliance that with the quality policies, environment and safety.
Staff managed: 03 production supervisors & 60 operators per shift.
