Duties and responsibilities

1. **Cleaning**: This involves daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, dusting furniture, cleaning windows, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the house.

2. **Laundry and Ironing**: Washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens as needed.

3. **Bed Making**: Changing bed linens and ensuring beds are made neatly.

4. **Bathroom Cleaning**: Scrubbing and disinfecting toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs.

5. **Kitchen Cleaning**: Cleaning countertops, cabinets, appliances, and ensuring dishes are washed and put away.

6. **Organizing**: Keeping rooms and closets organized and tidy.

7. **Grocery Shopping**: Purchasing groceries and household supplies as instructed.

8. **Cooking**: Some housemaids may be responsible for preparing meals or assisting with meal preparation.

9. **Pet Care**: Feeding and possibly walking pets, and cleaning up after them.

10. **Running Errands**: Performing various tasks such as picking up dry cleaning, dropping off packages, or handling other household errands.

11. **Childcare**: Occasionally, housemaids may be responsible for supervising children or helping with their care and activities.
