Responsible for registering and rooming the guests, handling guest room keys, keeping accurate inventory of guest rooms, preparing and maintaining necessary reports and records. Offers and provides assistance to the guests as and when required. In response to the guest quires, gives out factual information pertaining to the hotel services and facilities, events.etc. Attends to the guest complaints, enquiries and requests. Maintains statistical records necessary for further evaluation and analysis such as daily arrivals and departures records, room mix and breakdown report, VIP and special attention list. Handle all front office cashiers transactions such as posting charges to guests accounts, taking room payment and exchanging foreign currency according to the procedures. Possess a working knowledge of the room reservation procedures and take reservations and cancellations if required.
