ICT/ELV ENGINEER:
Role:
Regulatory.
A site-based role reporting to the Project Manager. Leading the ELV team in delivering the site- supervision of the implementation of a pre-defined design encompassing IT, ELV, Security and Fire Alarm infrastructure as per Authority • Assisting and coordinating with Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical design teams in maintaining design quality and project schedule with respect to Communications, Life Safety and Automated Systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Managing a team of ELV engineers proficient in ELV systems and on-site building practices.
• Responsible for the IT, Telecom, ELV, Electronic Security and Fire Alarm systems design contents as assigned together with its follow-up for Authorities and Client's approval.
• Responsible for regular site visits to ensure installation standard is satisfactory.
• Liaison and coordination with all applicable Local Authority Departments to obtain approval at all stages of the project.
• Coordination with other Discipline Engineers (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical) as applicable

Project Management Duties:
• Responsible for the design review of the IT, Telecom, ELV, Security and Fire Alarm services.
• Participation in design review meetings and workshops. If required.
• Preparation of meeting records, design review and design progress reports.
• Liaise with Local suppliers / Contractors to ensure adherence to standards and scope of works required by client.
• Validate & check design drawings for IT/ Communications Systems & Security construction phases of the project.
• Provide guidance and advice to the ELV team for alternative proposals by the contractor.
• Preparation of Technical Submittals.
• Coordinating with customers and consultants for drawing approvals.
• Obtaining drawing approval prior to manufacturing.
• Issue of Shop drawings to production with clear engineering inputs.
• Preparation and submittal of As-built drawings
Estimation Duties:
• Review requirements in specification/project drawings received from customer.
• Cost Estimation and offer preparation of low current system, according to client RFQs, technical specifications, SLDs, BOQs,
• Support Estimation team, in responding to customer RFQs and Technical Queries.
• Interact with suppliers & principals to get the best prices.
• Co-ordinate with Sales, Production & Design
