1. Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
2. Consult with vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
3. Confer with Engineers, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
4. Review material and labor requirements, to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
Production Department.
Currently working as Cost Engineer At INDTECH ELEKTRO CONTROL(KRANTI POWER
TILLER) Hoshiarpur
1. I am overall responsible for Production Of my shift and reporting directly to HOD (PRODUCTION)
2. Monitoring and achieving the production targets in time.
3. Man power setting right Man on right m/c at right time.
4.Visit on each m/c check as per program, wps, process card, tags, loss time, check list etc.
5.Maintain recode like attendance; prod n register, mis, memo, breakdown slip, N C record.
6. Process checking of wire strand, rope, iwrc & maintain quality.
100 % quality product produces strand, iwrc, rope and wire.
7. Full attention on Housekeeping & cleaning of each m/c, tools.
8. Advance line up on each m/c wire, die tools, cone, take up bobbin, slling etc
9. Production ensures machine s running plan during lunch time.
10 Best utilization of man power for gang loading during loading, cleaning etc.
11. Attend meeting once in a shift with w/drg dep’t discuss problem
12. Continuous follow-up with worker regarding m/c health, quality, production.
13. Proper systems maintain such as process check, tag management, pre-arrange.
14. Providing Training to co-workers.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
Reduction in man power without effecting production.
Saving in lubricants by using Kaizen.
Modification in plant machinery to improve quality and quantity by coordinating with
Engineering Department.
Member of team to audit ISO system in the plant.
TPM ACTIVITY
Now our Company works on T.P.M. and I was also a member of Jishu Hozen team, I work on
Cleaning and Inspection of machines, Fuguai Finding, Why -Why analysis, SOP( Standard Operating
Procedure), One point Lesson for machines, HTA (Hard to access area), SOC (Source of
contamination)
I monitoring and remove all the White tag (Minor fault on machine which will be removed him self
without any help of maintenance department) from machine. Which are find by different team
member, (One staff member with Operators) in my area during Jishu Hozen Activity.
I have also given the training to our plant machine operator with the help of our Engg.deptt staff
how to work on CLIT (Cleaning Lubrication Inspection & Tightened) and how to identify Red &
White tags.
Monitoring 1s, 2s and 3s list as per monthly updation.
Motivate Operators for finding Kaizens on their machine for betterment.
Attended seminars on Health, Safety and Environment & also participated on activities.
