Design and implement effective Supply Chain processes that deliver Supply Chain metrics (Store Fill Rate, Inventory, and Supply Chain costs)
Develop agile supply chain team to support new store launch (opening at rapid pace - one convenience store per day )
Formulate long and short term Supply Chain strategy and Network planning
Establish effective vendor relationship management and set the processes for Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) for better vendor fill rate and optimization in inventory
Design, Develop and implement effective processes for evaluation of distribution channel (Stock model, Cross Dock, Flow thru, and Direct Store delivery) and Distribution unit (Case/Each despatch from DC to store) to optimize supply chain costs
Ensure action by Supply chain team as per escalation matrix for quick resolution of issues cut through different functions
Proactive identification and de-bottlenecking of DC capacity constraints (Inbound, storage, and Outbound) having optimization of DC to Store and Vendor to DC delivery schedule and order frequency
Design, Develop, and implement automated Forecasting in i2 that delivers higher forecasting accuracy to achieve optimization in inventory and better service level
Design and establish effective communication processes with Category, Store ops, DC ops and IT
Ensure effective operations of automated i2 replenishment for store and purchase orders
Develop and implement adaptive supply chain processes and change management to support strategies of different formats as per dynamic business needs
Develop highly automated supply chain systems to deliver end to end excellent supply chain performance
Mentor planners to develop leadership and technical skills to achieve desired result expected from internal customers
Design and enhance Vendor follow up process, portal management, escalation mechanism and SLA, exception reporting and ensure issue resolution as per SLA
Delivery in time on full (DIFOT) at weekly level based on forecast
Control on Finished Goods inventory
Lowest Total delivered costs (TDC) by having strategic manufacturing locations considering fiscal benefits
Handling of total 1.7 million cases per annum of primary and secondary transportation from CFAs to distributors
Appointment of CFAs and Facility planning
Control on CFA and secondary transportation costs
Reverse auction on transportation at yearly level to have continuous reduction in primary transportation costs
Ensure SOPs followed by CFAs (Order management, Receipt and stocking, Inventory audits, Billing, Statutory requirements, Discrepancy resolution etc.)
Support and ensure on time launch of new products
S&OP meeting with Sales and Marketing on a monthly basis
Annual production budget and facility planning in terms capacity augmentation and identification on additional requirement of manufacturing and packaging machineries
Rough cut Capacity planning on monthly basis to respond to sudden market requirements
Production plan at weekly level and ensure its adherence by all factories
Proactive action and coordination with Sales & Marketing on liquidation of Slow and obsolete inventory (SLOB)
Ensure delivery of stocks to distributors as per agreed SLA
Lay out planning/ Designing warehouses
