Responsible for every Zonal Warehouse & Site Warehouses for managing Heavy Equipment, Road, Railways & Civil works construction materials.
• Manage Warehouse and materials: Issue of materials to customers as per the requirement and record maintenance for the same in ERP. Review shortages of materials and ensure action steps for fulfillment of shortages.
• Implement systems and processes for Warehouse and their operations: Implement systems like, Min Max etc. for enhancing capability, efficiency and performance of Warehouse operations. Process for slow moving /project surplus in terms to use existing inventory. Manage overall responsibility of stock integrity, Conduct regular audits to identify gaps & requirement of change in the management process.
• Inventory Management: Overall responsibility of checking out Deviations and control of Warehouse inventories. Review the audit reports and take correction measures as suggested. Conduct the departmental reconciliation and adjustments with finance as per the outcome of report. Review the ageing of slow/nonmoving materials and conduct their disposal as per laid down policies. Planning of the Audits and its compliance. Scrap return to vendor or Auction as per S.O.P. System/process/Procedures compliance within norms of the company.
• Plan for Warehouse and materials: Plan for materials quantity for Warehouse, including Future stock requirements for every Quarter through tools for forecasting and previous records analysis. MRP analysis to cater the material distribution as per project requirement. Support purchase department for planning the procurement of requisite material for Warehouse. Plan for Warehouse space management and availability and ensure adherence to various norms and safety conditions in the process. Review overall planning of materials on a regular basis to optimum the inventory.
