Responsible for every Zonal Warehouse & Site Warehouses for managing Heavy Equipment, Road, Railways & Civil works construction materials.
• Manage Warehouse and materials: Issue of materials to customers as per the requirement and record maintenance for the same in ERP. Review shortages of materials and ensure action steps for fulfillment of shortages.
• Implement systems and processes for Warehouse and their operations: Implement systems like, Min Max etc. for enhancing capability, efficiency and performance of Warehouse operations. Process for slow moving /project surplus in terms to use existing inventory. Manage overall responsibility of stock integrity, Conduct regular audits to identify gaps & requirement of change in the management process.
• Inventory Management: Overall responsibility of checking out Deviations and control of Warehouse inventories. Review the audit reports and take correction measures as suggested. Conduct the departmental reconciliation and adjustments with finance as per the outcome of report. Review the ageing of slow/nonmoving materials and conduct their disposal as per laid down policies. Planning of the Audits and its compliance. Scrap return to vendor or Auction as per S.O.P. System/process/Procedures compliance within norms of the company.
• Plan for Warehouse and materials: Plan for materials quantity for Warehouse, including Future stock requirements for every Quarter through tools for forecasting and previous records analysis. MRP analysis to cater the material distribution as per project requirement. Support purchase department for planning the procurement of requisite material for Warehouse. Plan for Warehouse space management and availability and ensure adherence to various norms and safety conditions in the process. Review overall planning of materials on a regular basis to optimum the inventory.
Looking after the Central warehouse and site warehouses for Catering, Integrated facility management Services Warehouses in Oman.
• Plan for Food materials receiving from Vendors in clean, Hygienic manner, spoilage free, adulteration & Safe for Human consumption, in close vehicle with defined temperature.
• Storage of food material in warehouse: Frozen food shall be stored at a temperature of -15° C to -18° C or Less, Frozen products should be rock hard. There should not be ice crystals, discoloration, thawing signs or any foreign smell at storage, Chilled Fresh products should be stored at a temperature of 3° C to 5° C or Less. Food Items to be properly segregated from non food items. No food products with expired date to be stored in warehouse.
• Plan for Integrated facility management Services material. Storage for cleaning materials, separate storage for cleaning chemicals & soaps with expiry date consideration.
• Providing Support purchase department for planning the procurement of requisite Imports and domestic material for Warehouse.
• Space management and adherence to various norms and safety conditions as per ROP.
• Optimization of Inventory by review overall planning of materials on a regular basis.
• Issue of materials to customers as per requirement and record maintenance for the same.
• Review Mechanism for shortages of materials and action steps for fulfillment of shortages.
Min Max etc. for enhancing capability, efficiency and performance of Warehouse operations.
• Conduct regular internal audits to identify gaps and requirement of change in management process.
• Procedures for deviations and control of Warehouse inventories, corrective measurements for audits.

• Domestic transportation system to meet business needs.

• Cost reduction projects and look for opportunities across supply chain and logistics to delivery annual saving targets.
• Interacting ROP Departments for obtaining necessary licenses/sanctions and ensuring compliance with various statutory obligations.

• Implement process for slow moving / project surplus in terms of options to use existing inventory or sell off extra materials.

Logistics: -
• Develop and maintain transportation system on domestic freight to meet business needs.
• Responsible for managing & monitoring of logistics operations of primary and secondary transportation in a most effective manner.
• Transporter Development: Preparation of Logistics Tender documents and finalization of Logistics Contract and Implementation and monitoring the all the stages and review the shipment performance at the end of each shipments.
• Freight Negotiation: Negotiation and finalization of transport & Octroi agent contract and responsible for material & Finished Products Transportation through approved transporters.
• Identify the leverage opportunities across the supply chain to improve efficiencies and reduce costs: Coordinate with Octroi Agents, C&F Agents and other external agencies for ensuring timely clearances and cost effective transport solutions.
• Manage and drive Cost reduction projects and look for opportunities across supply chain and logistics to delivery annual saving targets.
• Interacting with regulatory authorities like Excise & Customs Departments for obtaining necessary licenses/sanctions and ensuring compliance with various statutory obligations.
• Introduction of Milk-run concept to Mumbai & Pune based Vendors.
• Logistics Management for Kandivali plant, Coordination with Mahindra Logistics Ltd.
• Key member in Transporter development, Freight Negotiations, Milk Run concepts.
• Octroi Activities: Responsible for all Octroi related activities for plant i.e. Coordinator for all Octroi posts on BMC boundary through authorized agents & BMC officials.
• Availing Octroi all facilities like R form, CC form for saving of octroi & generating reimbursements. Quarterly Closing for R form & Yearly validation from Authorized C.A. to avail new facility from BMC.
• Single point of contact for all IUTN (Plant to plant transfer) material Receiving & Despatch from each Automotive Plants of Mahindra in India to provide Logistics Solution.
• Logistics & packaging cost savings: CFT Team Member of core team for cost saving initiatives in Plant. Coordination with 05 Production Units & Suppliers for extracting Logistics & Packaging cost saving through various levers.
• Started the initiative of Logistics & Packaging Cost saving Ratification from Accounts Dept.
• Introduction of Vehicle Tracking system (within plant) with help of IT & SCM team.
PPC
• Responsible for various rolling sequencing & Production planning (PPC)
1. Assess availability of aggregates, demand priority & bought out components.
2. Release of 3 day plan of vehicle rolling sequence (1day Firm & 2 day Tentative)
3. Contribute in reduction of TACT through specific inputs in sub-assembly or individual components. 12 secs reduced by shifting of facia assembly for Paint shop to line Side.
4. Continual improvement in Ergonomics. Monitor and improve daily Schedule adherence to better the through put.
5. Production Planning: Releasing Daily Vehicle rolling Planning with respect to CCPC’s monthly plan & monitoring daily & monthly schedule adherence.
6. Prioritize export rolling of vehicle, coordination with CDMM, Manufacturing, SCM procurement and Stores.
• Inventory Reduction with Utilization of material, owning the A2 Level release of Material P.R.
• Responsible for System V/s Physical Reconciliation of material.
• Ensuring 100% closure of SIT & GRN by reconciliation with warehouse teams all over India.
• Utilization and reduction of manpower & Equipments based on design made for Work load.
• Created new contracts in REM of SAP - FICO module for rented warehouses.
• Budgeting for Warehouse Rent, Manpower, Equipments & utilities coordinating with Accounts & Budget team.
• An integral member Warehouse Consolidation team performing the consolidation operation of project warehouses across India.
• Responsible for handling of inward materials, scrap disposal, dispatches and maintenance of stores records. Ensuring proper receipt and issue of raw materials.
• Coordination with Purchase and production departments to ensure no shortages and smooth running of production & tighter control on obsolescence.
• Monitoring the Data Operations related with Imported materials receipts and dispatches.
• Coordination with Sub-Contracting dept. for providing raw materials.
• Matching and maintaining physical stock with database as per ISO.
Maintaining and working in inventory Management which include following:
• Creating Goods receipt (GR) with as per Purchase Order.
• Goods transfer and stock from one storage location to other.
• Co-ordination with Production & Purchase to help material planning.
• Responsible for monthly perpetual inventory of ABC class material.
• Balancing kit of raw materials to ensure information available on production capacity.
