I started work in the National hospital of Swaida in 2009 as a resident physician and I practiced my job in the department of ophthalmology in following the patients and management of the emergency cases and as assistant surgeon in the general operations. I have sat for the test of the 1st year (anatomy, .physiology, optics, eye drugs) and have successfully passed it
I continued my job as a resident physician in the department of ophthalmology in 2010 and practiced my job in following the patients of the department by executing the minor operations (chalazion, pterygium, probing of the nasolacrimal duct, removal the benign nodules and cysts of eyelid) in addition to my job as an assistant surgeon in the Major operations and started in the first stages of the operation of Extracapsular cataract extraction, strabismus operations, glaucoma operations, the emergency operations of sewing the wounds of the cornea and Management of the emergency operations of Eyeball rupture.
I moved to work in the specialized eye surgical hospital in Damascus in 2011and continued my job as a resident physician in the departments of ophthalmology and following the cases of the patients. I have worked as well inside the general clinic department as an assistant chief of classification in addition to my job in the Clinics specializing in eye diseases (Cornea clinic, strabismus clinic, glaucoma clinic, Oculoplastics, Orbit Clinic and retina and vitreous clinic).
In addition to the training period inside the general operations where I have executed strabismus operations and extracapsular cataract extraction and I started the first stages by cataract extraction in phaco method under the supervision of distinguished physicians and as an assistant in all retinal operations and the vitrectomy and glaucoma operations.
In the year 2012 I continued my job as a classification chief physician in the Clinics specializing in eye diseases (assessment and follow up of strabismus patients, assessment and follow up of glaucoma patients, assessment and follow up of cornea patients, assessment and follow up of eyelid & orbit patients, assessment and follow up of retina patients in addition to my job in the laser clinic where I have made Argon laser for the patients of diabetes"PRP") in addition to the operations of cataract extraction by phaco method and strabismus operations and as an assistant surgeon in the operations of retinal detachment and pars plana vitrectomy, in addition to management of the emergency cases as the wounds of the cornea, eyeball rupture, sewing the sclera and repairing of eyelid laceration.
In the year 2013 I sat for the final exam and got the specialty certificate in eye diseases and surgery with Very Good rating.
