Responsible for counseling and assisting eligible beneficiaries about TRICARE military health benefits
under the supervision of Medical Services Manager and Director of Health Services
• Specializes in counseling and answering questions and research information about programs for the
individual to understand the full range of benefits for TRICARE Prime Remote Overseas beneficiaries
and any limitations or exclusions.
• Responsible for obtaining Guarantees of payment and Authorization letters from TRICARE/ISOS for the
patients to ensure coverage of the service and payment will not be from the patient’s expense.
• Accessing medical and dental services via the host nation facilities TRICARE/ InternationalSOS chose
for our customers:
1. Al Ahli Hospital
2. Doha Clinic Hospital
3. Future Medical Center
4. Dr. Sarah’s Specialist Dental Centre
• Oversee the quality of health care services provided in the Host Nation Facilities and report any
concerns to the Medical Services Manager and Director of Health Services
• Coordinating between TRICARE/ InternationalSOS (the world’s leading provider for medical assistance,
international healthcare, security services and outsourced customer care) and beneficiaries and makes
sure that hospitals have been credentialed correctly and reports any changes to TRICARE for review.
• Responsible for managing beneficiary’s hospital appointments, medical reports for the beneficiary’s
continuous medical care here in Qatar and in the US
• Assists beneficiaries to file claims for TRICARE for medical and METLIFE for dental claims for the family
members of the sponsor.
• Maintains required claim records and files
• Maintains patient tracking log and provide reports and analysis and follow up if needed
• Handles patient complaints and issue regarding downtown hospital experiences and resolves the
concern by giving different kinds of options.
• Use intuitive skills to effectively determine customer needs, research possible causes, and create
correspondence to fully address and resolve customer inquiries.
• Attends annual TRICARE/ InternationalSOS training under US government expense
February 2014) -Represents colleagues as part of the Troop Medical Clinic staff
during All Hands Meetings and sees to it that all concerns and suggestions are heard and will be brought
up during the monthly meetings.
