Anoud Banihani

Assistant Professor at the College of Technological Innovation at Zayed University. Dr Bani-Hani received her EngD in Enterprise resource planning system implementation in small to medium enterprises in UK from Loughborough University in UK, where she did an industrial base PhD. Dr Bani-hani primary field of research is ERP and software implementations. She is also holds a degree in Multimedia and internet computing and interested in that field. Prior to working at Zayed University, she worked as an ERP developer in a private company in UK as part of her EngD research and was a lecturer at Jordan University of Science and Technology.

This job includes critical analysis of work, developing a work methodology and plan, project management.
Designing, configuration, system testing, delivery and documentation of the solution for each process area. Development of interfaces to existing systems. Improved general system administration regarding users, security, job scheduling, testing, archiving etc.
Good analytic skills and a team player to bring people to a level of understanding the need of the system.
Working knowledge of technology including but not limited to, development tools, databases, operating systems, programming languages (SQL, VB script and HTML).

Responsibility:
Analysis, implementation and developing ERP system for JCK Joinery under project “The role of ERPs in Low Tech SMEs” sponsored by EPSRC, Loughborough University and JCK Joinery.
o Business requirement review (Analysis).
o Documentation and technical writing.
o Testing and End user training.
o Technical and functional troubleshooting.

Skills used:
Professional Management, Communication, team work, decision making, organization and development, IT, documentation, Business systems / ERP knowledge.
Experience with Reporting (Crystal Reports) tools.

Part time lecturer for 1st, 3rd and 4th year students, Teaching Multimedia lectures as well as Multimedia Lab (the lab includes working with Photoshop and Macromedia Flash), and Teaching Computer Skills for 1st year students.

This Job includes:
Preparing the class session on daily basis, Delivering the course to students according to the schedule.

Conducting exams and projects to evaluate students and monitor their performance.

Self enhancing in the technical capabilities, and increasing the knowledge in the needed training course.

Help students develop motivation, confidence and self esteem.

Assist students in improving academic achievement by meeting with the on a regular basis to clarify learning problems and work on study skills.

This position with the IT-Support department, was including IT Support for the MInistry Employees as well as taking Oracle Workshops, and Courses with Oracle Company.. We were working with the Ministry Website as a web designer and the internal system.

While working with the royal scientific society, in the computer technology department, i was a programmer, working with Oracle and many different languages, i was also given a course in software development, which included working with Asp and some internet workshops.
I've also passed the ICDL exam.
