- Assemble subordinates and check if wearing the required PPE’s as well as the physical health before starting to work.
- Assign subordinates to their daily job and prepares duty schedule for the next working days as well as week days.
- Ensure and certify that all the transaction in the warehouse specifically the receiving and issuing are complying with the company QMS (ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System) and as well as the implemented methods such as 5s and Kaizen/Four principles (Lean Management).
- Inspect the item as to quality and quantity, weights and measurement against the supplier’s delivery note. Check the item part number, model number from the company PO to supplier DO as well as the MSDS depends on the user requirement before receiving to be done.
- Daily check of PO’s for partial and fully received items. Do follow up for partially received items through company email and BAAN program (ERP based) to central purchaser.
- Observe stock movement by ensuring that the FIFO system is well implemented to obtain the shelf life and expiration date of the item specially consumables. Do quantity adjustments of the item stock perimeter depend on the consumption level of the user. Do replenishment of the items that reach the re-order point.
- Arrange and categorize the item according to its classification. Allocate new location for new item in the stock.
- Ensure that all receiving and issuances are inputted and registered in the system before the end of the day. Follow up the pending item to be received by the user to avoid conflict in inventory from physical to the system.
- Perform weekly cycle count to monthly liquidation/closing up to annual inventory to ensure that the quantity in physical versus system is tally. Monitor inventory value and make sure that the item old cost and new cost will be equal in the system.
- Responsible of handling the facility and factory machine spare parts. Facilities such as power station and generators, water pump station, chiller, desert cooler, exhaust and filtering station. Spare parts for factories such as commercial printing/binding, film and flexible plastic packaging, folding carton, graphic, technical fabric/yarn and tensile structures. And machines such as; printing, cutting, folding, sewing, laminating, stacker, web design and web making machines, molding, rewinding, waste pressing, metalizing, distillation, rotor, bag making, slitting, folding, extrusion, washing, plate mounting, finishing, engraving, injection, polishing, nickel, copper, thermo flex oven machines, cheese box, gathering, window packing, scrapping and vision foil machines.
- Maintain the housekeeping and safety culture within the warehouse premises by means of conducting safety awareness and educate the warehouse employees about the safety environment as well as the basic for suppliers who are coming in and out in the warehouse.
- Daily routine housekeeping and safety inspection within the warehouse premises. Ensures that the employee complies with the housekeeping and safety rules/procedures by checking the required PPE’s before and during working hours. Ensures the safety of using and operating the warehouse equipment’s such as; forklift, pallet truck/jack pallet. Do inspection of minor and major facility maintenance issues and inform GMED (Group Maintenance and Engineering Dept.) then generates maintenance request through company portal if there’s any neglected issues. Raise NCR (non-conformity record) or IAF (Improvement Action Form) if it is repeated issues.

Procurement/Warehouse Dept.
- Ensure the jobs to execute are complying with the company policies specially HS (health and safety).
- Review the yesterday plan and assigning the subordinates to their daily assignment and day to day job.

- Daily check of purchase orders for partial and fully received items using J.D. Edwards (JDE) program (ERP based). Coordinate with the accounts for fully and partial received items to update the supplier payment from local and International.
- Monitor the stock movement. Make sure that the first-in, first-out policy is being followed. Check and adjust the minimum, maximum re-order quantity and re-order point of each item in the system according and depends of the consumption level of the user.
- Organize the stock to each default area and allocate new item in the stock to its new location. Check the stock that attained re-order point and needs replenishment.
- Coordinate with the subordinates for inputting or to register daily issuances to the system and other adjustments entries.
- Ensure the stock is tally in the system and in physical and perform weekly cycle count, liquidation to monthly and annual inventory.
- Participate the month end closing of procurement and coordinate with all departments specially the operation, logistics and accounts. Tally and match all the transaction of procurement for the whole month versus the data of all departments.
- Responsible for handling plant spare parts, equipment’s, lubricants and additives such as; power transmissions, pumping and filtering, machinery maintenance, fastening and sealing, fabrication and cutting, measures/levels and inspecting tools, electrical, process control and instrumentation, chemicals. (e.g. motors, gearboxes, actuators, huge couplings, and bearings, flanges, bolts and nuts, special metals, conveyor belts, hydraulic and exhaust hoses, pumps, pneumatics, valves, seals, contactors, switches, relay and breakers, heavy duty cables, bulbs, power sources, transmitters, transducers, electronic modules, monitors, unit data storage and processors, gear and hydraulic oils, grinding aids, sands for lab test, acids and some harmful laboratory materials and plant consumable materials and raw materials, etc.).
- Responsible for handling heavy vehicle spare parts, equipment’s, lubricants and additives such as; all mechanical and electrical parts of trailer truck (tipper), mixer truck, dump truck, concrete pump truck, shovel/loader and heavy power vacuum truck. (e.g. motors, gearboxes, manifolds, shafts, pumps, couplings and bearings, valves, seals, bolts and nuts, hydraulics hoses, contactors, switches, relay and breakers, batteries, cables, vehicle front/side/tail lights, gear and hydraulic oils and some consumables, etc.).
