Approval and licensing for the production of materials were implemented with the local authorities and HSE planning was initiated.
Was responsible to strategize, manage and control performance of Quality Assurance Department in according to the Groups objectives.Coordinated management reviews and followed up on activities resulting from these reviews. Planned, coordinated and participated in the Internal Quality Audit Program for the whole group. Enhanced coordination of Quality Audits / Assessments conducted by the regulatory authorities as required by the respective regulatory requirements and successfully recertified the ISO QMS.
New testing standards and equipment were acquired and implemented. Educated and coached all staff on the implementation and requirements of QMS. Managed the customer complaints management process by working with the production and project departments.
Championed the identification, development and implementation of projects and initiatives which resulted in product/service enhancement, cost efficiencies and business alignment consistent with objectives of the organization.

Increased Productivity, Profitability and customer satisfaction by adopting value based purchasing and optimum inventory levels being maintained and 95% on time deliveries. Implemented ISO QMS, 5 S programmes and Safety, which increased waste reduction and improved safety with lost downtime reduced to 40 hrs thereby increasing Job satisfaction. I was the QMR and Chairman for the safety and health committee.
