Working with Zubair Furnishing as a Sin. Project manager on there Project in India... Construction of the new City View Hotel Project in Bangalore India.. Scope of work including Dry wall and false ceiling construction, marble and granite wall & floor tiles, all internal fit out of the hotel bed room floors....
Later due to client cash flow problems transferred to Salalah Airport project in Oman to over see the finishing of there scope of works on this project including False ceilings, marble floor & wall tiles, external cladding and paving, painting, and fitting of doors and frames, panty fit out and all bathroom fit outs on the project...
I am Currently the Operations/Project Manager for TTC LLC in Facilities Maintenance Division. Projects in hand include the O & M at Sultan Quboos University, Sultan Quboos University Hospital, Salalah Sports Complex, Buraimi Sports Complex, Buraimi Sports Complex, Higher College Muscat and some smaller government buildings through out Muscat. Total workforce under my control is 800 workers and 60 staff. We do the full maintenance and operation of all facilities including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Hvac at all projects.
In my position I have direct talks with my senor management and with the client on all project to make sure we provide the best service to them so there facility runs smoothly.
Overseeing the works by Asha on the Salalah Airport project. Work scope was the construction of the dry walls for the project and fire stopping of the buildings...
Overseeing the works by Asha on the new Crowne Plaza Hotel that was built in Duqm Oman.. Our scope of work was the Dry wall and false ceiling installation on the entire project along with the fire stopping of the project... A 220 bed hotel with all internal walls constructed as dry walls... We had a total of 180 workers at our peek and 12 staff... Also awarded some of the joinery contract for the Bars and public areas of the hotel.....

Working Director of GPML general building contractors. My role is one of Project/site manager on projects being completed by GPML. I am first contact with the client and from then on I organise the quote, tradesmen and subcontractors involved in the project. I am the client's contact and am on site every day to make sure the job runs smoothly and get finished on time, within budget and to the highest standard of finish. I resolve all disputes on site organise the purchases of materials and the delivery schedule and chair all site meetings.
Laragan Developments Ltd 2007-2009
I worked as a Finishing Foreman with this company on their Carrickmines Green site. The site consisted of a mix of houses and apartment blocks. The total cost of the project was €50 million. My role included supervising all sub contractors and direct labour on site, ordering of all materials, inducting all new site personal, giving tool box talks, weekly progress meeting with senior management, working on snag lists and closing of units with clients.
MCR Agency (6 months on contract) 2007
I worked on contract with the MCR agency to Laragan developments on their Carrickmines Green site as Finishing foreman.
Bennett Construction 2005-2007
I worked for Bennett's as Finishing Foreman on the Ballymun hotel site bringing to handover the 120 bed hotel, 156 one and two bed apartments and 8 shop units. The project cost was €60 million. My job involved working with all sub contractors and direct labour on site, contacting of suppliers, attending site meetings, ordering materials, inductions, tool box talks, labour day worksheets and snagging of hotel and apartments for hand over to clients.
I was then transferred to Bennett's Island bridge site. This comprised of 66 housing units consisting of one and two bed apartments for the elderly. The client was Dublin City Council and the project cost was €20 million. My duties where to bring to a finish all units working alongside the client clerk of works to resolve any site issues that arose. My other duties where attending site meetings, supervising all sub contractors and direct labour, progress reports, ordering of materials and plant, snagging and site cleanup at finish of project.
Pierse Contracting (6 months on contract) 2005
I worked on their Robs wall site for six months as a Finishing Foreman. It was a housing project and my duties where to bring to hand over a mix of units from three story houses to apartments to duplex two and three bed units valued from €450, 000 to €900, 000. My job involved working with all direct labour and sub contractors, labour day worksheets, contacting of suppliers, organising delivery of materials to site, site safety inductions and tool box talks.
P J Hegarty 2004-2005
I worked as Finishing Foreman with Hegarty's out in their site at Swords Laboratory (B.M.S) bringing to a finish the upgrade of the P4/P4A part of the factory. This was a working factory so safety was of the utmost importance. My duties were to meet with the Laboratory Safety Coordinator every morning to sort out the work schedule for the day, along with coordinating all sub contractors and direct staff, labour day worksheets, attend daily safety site meetings and weekly site meetings, site inductions and tool box talks.
P.A.H. Construction 1998-2004
I worked as a self employed Carpenter for PAH construction as a working foreman building houses, extensions, renovating houses and offices and a small industrial unit from green field to handover. My duties included all carpentry work and to supervise all labour direct and sub contractor on sites, picking up of materials, snagging of jobs to handover to client. I sometimes worked on two contacts at a time as well as going back to do the 'one year' client snag.
My earlier work included working as a Security Guard for a security printing company (De La rue Smurfit) . I started my working life as an apprentice Carpenter with John Sisk & Sons Ltd., in 1983.

Safe Pass Computer - • I am fully conversant with all Microsoft Office Programmes.
