duties & Responsibilities
• Prepare lifting plans and crane proposals, incorporating safety case information and statutory regulations.
• Provide daily assistance with on-site lifting activities, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and technical review of lifting procedures and equipment selection.
• Collaborate with structural construction engineers and campaign supervisors to plan and execute complex work scopes.
• Promote safe and efficient lifting practices throughout the project development.
• Manage all crane operations within the project, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Plan and schedule crane activities to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to determine crane specifications and requirements.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections of cranes to ensure their proper working condition.
• Train and supervise crane operators and riggers, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Monitor crane operations to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Implement and enforce proper lifting procedures.
• Identify potential hazards or risks associated with crane operations and take preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate records of crane activities, including inspections, maintenance, and incidents.
• Ensure proper setup, levelling, and positioning of cranes for safe lifting tasks.
• Evaluate load characteristics and determine the appropriate crane size, type, and lifting method for each task.
