o Responsible for performance and output at OCC
o Managing and coordinating the delivery of the commercial schedule (including Cargo operations) against agreed safety, operational, compliance, resource, cost and revenue plans and targets
o Ensuring the published schedule is maintained in the most professional, efficient and cost effective manner, ensuring safety is never compromised
o Ensuring that the appropriate decisions taken within the OCC are well thought out, and are achieved in collaboration with concerned parties and effectively communicated to all leading teams
o Evaluating and initiating emergency response action in accordance with company policy. Contribute to the schedule design process by reporting operational impediments to the monthly planning forums
o Chairing the Daily Network Forward Planning Operational meeting and Flight Daily Delays Senior Managers meeting
o Complying with all applicable business and industry specific legislative/regulatory requirements especially QCAA
o Coordinating the OCC teams through the design, development and implementation of integrated cross functional and network delivery processes
o Developing staff by setting targets and regularly undertaking appraisals and making appropriate recommendations on career direction in a mutual agreed atmosphere and guidelines
o Ensuring the safety and security of all people, assets, systems and procedures within area of responsibility or otherwise under own control or influence
o Maintaining satisfactory balance of On Time Performance (OTP), interdependency and customer service, in line with the company’s business goals
o Maintained strong and effective communication with all key stakeholders and build strong relationships and trust
