Looking after retail store’s daily operations in Abu Dhabi.
Driving retail and institutional sales, manpower management.
Inventory management, stores merchandising, store sales and staff performance analysis, understanding market trend and making strategies.
Managing retail operation of Google Hardware tertiary offline sales in west part of India.
Managing 150+ Google brand promoters deployed in General Trade and Modern Trade partners.
Coordinating with regional distributors and retailers to support secondary sales to ensure brand’s availability and visibility in every store.
Accomplishments:
• Recruited 150+ brand promoters for the region and deployed them into GT and MT stores after successful training and assessment.
• Made a significant contribution to improve employee reporting and compliance reporting applications for client.
• Played a key role in setting up smooth and steady inventory replenishment mechanism to minimize loss of sale and optimum productivity.
• Ensures opening and closing of store as per SOP.
• Ensures that the daily checklist is completed and followed by each section.
• Briefs the team daily on targets and priorities for the day.
• Ensures that the schemes are updated a day before they are implemented.
• Maintains and monitors staff rotation and shift timings.
• Ensures that the team follows disciplines in processes, operations.
• Ensures that grooming standards of staff are adhered to.
• Ensures that the dept looks presentable, cleanliness is maintained, lights are working and trail rooms are clean and usable.
• Ensures that activities, new arrivals, schemes are communicated to sales Associates/Cashiers/VM.
• Understands the department layout and product placements.
• Understand the product character & maintains fixture capacities and merchandising norms.
• Maintains base stock levels for each product, class and sub class.
• Ensures timely replenishment from CDC to Store floor.
• Ensures inward of goods is as per SOP and no goods are sold without proper in warding.
• Effectively ensures non-selling and defective merchandise is out warded every month after proper approvals.
• Measures performance of each product based on - absolute sales value, sales per sq ft and sales share to the department and store.
• Keeps information on CDC inventories, STO's and allocations done by HO category team.
• Analyze sales regularly and provides qualitative information on slow sellers and top sellers every week/fortnight.
• Keeps track of consumer feedback and communicate the same.
• Ensures periodic inventory checks for 0% shrinkage.
Accountabilities:
• Optimize sales in line with company budgets.
• Manage operating costs within budgetary guidelines.
• Ensures store administration is going smooth and is being reviewed on a daily, weekly and Monthly basis.
• Operate an effective stock management system to maximize sales and profitability.
Duties
• Sales, Stock and Store Management - Maintaining Stock level, stock turn, Co-ordination of selling systems, Sales Report, in-store VM arrangement, Target building and Achievements.
• Marketing Management - Identifying new opportunities, Planning and conducting in store and outdoor BTL activities to generate walk-ins. Budget preparation and implementations.
• Employee Management - Employee Recruitments, Training, maintaining motivation level and handling grievances. Need Assessment, Conducting Yearly/midterm Appraisals.
• Implementation of company norms and commercial compliances. Reporting deviations. Implementing SOP's and lean principles.
• Competition tracking and product development. Giving feedback to NPD department. Giving feedback on current trends for policy revision.
• Improving C-Sat score. Arranging customer meets, taking customer feedback. Attending and solving customer complaints.
Duties
• Managing multiple stores of size 100sqft and 5000sqft with total 26 numbers of staffs. Supervising day to day store operations and support marketing.
• Dealing with customer grievances on top priority. Support NPD and NSO team by giving right and timely feedback.
• Attending High Value customers personally leaving no room for complain.
• Meeting with Cluster manager time to time for reviewing business and plans. Tracking individual performance for better understanding of service efficiency.
