Manage & supervises the functional, administrative duties & responsibilities of the Accounts departments and Ensure compliance to accounting policies & procedures.
General Accounting - Month-end Closing, Trial Balance Preparation, Subsidiary Ledger and General Ledger Maintenance and Bank Reconciliation.
On-time preparation and reporting of periodic & year-end Financial Statements & Preparation of budgets in close liaison with GM.
Review and control of approved budgets & Management Reporting.
Maintains involvement in each aspect where the intervention of finance is needed & Co-ordination with auditors and ensuring proper and on-time reporting of reviewed and audited financials.
Compliance with legal requirements (e.g. Commercial Registrations, Municipal License, etc…).
Maintains good relationships with customers, suppliers and other business partners and ensures all issues are attending properly.
Monitor airline and supplier incentive, fixed assets, prepayments, Payroll (salary calculation and payment & monitoring staff benefits, e.g. Leave Salary and End of Service benefits).
Monitor general invoicing, refunds, Account receivables, petty cash custodian etc.
Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Perform financial analysis, reporting and management activities.
Ensure that the financial reports are prepared and delivered on time.
Review financial data for accuracy, correctness and completeness.
Documents are maintained in files as per the checklist like Booking forms, How to Book & terms & condition forms are duly signed by customer & agents (in case TA of bookings).
HO communication for costing confirmation & any approval if taken for discount or credit extent for FIT Division.
SO's are interfaced, verified and converted to invoices on a daily basis or immediately on or before the date of travel and to ensure full payments are collected.
Forex tour cost conversion to be done before the departure and to pass the necessary entries like debit memo in CKIS & standard invoices and FCY receipts are passed.
Checking of all Daily sales reports of Branch & Outstanding collections details send to Sales officers.
Scrutinize BIBW report and highlight if any debits are not received (like air ticket cost, visa cost insurance cost & land cost) and also highlight excess/short debits resulting in abnormal loss/profit.
Process payments to vendors like Visa vendors, commission to Travel agents and Forex towards tour cost conversion.
MIS Reports are sent as per the deadlines given with accurate date and taking sign off from respective HOD.
CKIS sales match with BI-BW summary profitability. Also ensure ST reports are verified and send precise data in time to HO for ST payments.
Monthly Revenue reporting and finalization of books & Monthly MIS Reports to reporting manager & Regional accounts head.
Manage all petty cash and office supply expense accounts.
Cash Transaction, daily bank activities, maintenance of accounts.
Responsible for the processing of all accounts receivable and payable.
Submit monthly reports regarding the expenses and cashbook balances.
Preparation of Service Tax payable monthly and reports to HO.
Monthly MIS Reports to reporting manager & Regional accounts head.
IT & Admin support at branch level, Keeping Fixed assets register.
Compile the monetary transactions of the organization and make entries in the general ledger under the relevant account head.
