Responsible for Schematic to detail designing of Mechanical services (HVAC, Hot and Cold water services, Fire fighting and drainage system).
Taking lead part in preparation of Concept, Preliminary Design Report and detailed specification for the project and tender drawings
Construction administration / Site supervision
Design HVAC, Drainage, Water supply, and Fire protection system based on the latest codes and standards
Liaise with the authorities to get the N.O.C / Building permits
Liaise with specialists to introduce the innovative technologies in the building services industry
Carry out QA procedures internally related to the design development
Replying to the Technical Queries related to Mechanical discipline
Co-ordination with other Disciplines such as Architectural, Structural and Electrical.
Guiding the drafting personnel to achieve the project deliverable targets
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for overall site management /supervision of Commercial/Residential multi storey towers at Capital Centre Development on ADNEC Exhibition Centre Abu Dhabi
Review/approval of shop drawings/material submittal
Re-design of Mechanical services (HVAC, Hot and Cold water services, Fire fighting and drainage system) based on value management / site conditions
Complete responsibility of end-to-end solutions for clients, right from conceptualization to final submission.
Successful completion projects within set parameters of cost, quality and resource utilization
Design review proposed by contractors
Actively involved in project management / construction management with client /consultant coordination/review meeting representing Consulting Engineer.
Liaise with the authorities to get the N.O.C / Building permits
Replying to the Technical Queries related to Mechanical discipline
Co-ordination with other Disciplines such as Architectural, Structural and Electrical.
Conducting the regular site progress meetings
Raising site instructions / NCR’s as and when required
Evaluation of variation claims / monthly claims from contractors. Review and finalise all provisional sum items
Monitor site progress and report back to Lead Consultants / Project Management

Cooling load calculation using Carrier HAP, Carrier E20 Block load, Elite Software and manual calculation etc
Design and supervision of air conditioning Systems using ASHRAE and SMACNA standards
Ventilation Calculations, Static pressure, Pump head, pipe sizing, selection of machines(FCU’s, AHU’s, Chillers and Pumps) as per requirement
Equipment / material selection
Preparation of Tender documents
Giving response to the contractors in case of RFI's
Monitoring the quality and progress of work through regular site supervision
Attending the regular Technical meetings
Preparing Design drawing / Review of Material submittal
Preparation of Concept reports / Schematic reports

Completed my B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering in December 1998 from Government Engineering college, Thrissur, Kerala, one of the foremost and prestigious engineering colleges of India, recognized by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education)
