I am currently working with Basicxx as an assistant buyer for Men's wear. Here at Basicxx, along with my buyer I evaluate vendors, create ranges from store samples, help the buyer negotiate the prices with the vendors, manage seasonal range plans, release purchasing orders and barcodes, coordinate with the vendors for timely approvals on styling/ fabric/ graphics techniques etc. and make sure the shipment deadlines are being followed as per the annual trading calendar. I also keep track of the saber registration which is required for KSA.
Marketing and Sales Management for the Fashion-related B2C website of Trade Connections viz. www.fashionchase.com/www.modelchase.com/www.dubaishoppers.com This includes research for prospective advertisers/clients, strategizing the sales and marketing plans, reaching out to the target clients through phone and personal meetings, discussions/negotiations for contracting, signing of the contract with Trade Connections, coordinating between Client and Web Designing Team to enable the content, attending to the subsequent Client requirements etc.
Social Media Marketing - Using Social Media like blogs, posts, Facebook, Instagram for marketing our sites and services
Content Writing - Conceptualized the content for Fashionchase site, discussed with the line manager and incorporated the content. The present content on the site was developed and also coded on to the site by self. Fashion being my area of expertise and duly incorporating my learning of the related tools, was able to enhance the look and feel of the website.
Events Management - Trade Connections Organized an Event/Exhibition for some of its key Customers in the month of September 2015. I was involved right from Strategy Meetings, Planning, Execution and Coordination for it. I had the exposure to Contracting with Hotel for Venue Booking and Facilities, Contracting, Space Selling, Layout Design for Exhibitors, Coordinating for ancillary services (catering, furniture, audio/video, multimedia etc
This four year degree program equipped me with requisite knowledge in different facets of Fashion Industry viz. Designing (range of fabrics/colors/target audience), Fashion Forecasting, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Photography, Choreography, Styling, Stage Design, Illustrations and even procurement & logistics.
