• Provide quality review and approve the Contractor’s Engineering Submissions like Material Technical Submittals, RFI, Calculations, Electrical Shop drawings, Layouts, Load Schedules, SLD/Schematics.
• Maintain compliance to local & international Electrical Codes, Authorities Regulations, Project specifications, Client requirements and Contract documents.
• Supervise the Construction Electrical team including Inspection Engineers, Project Engineers, Quality Engineers to achieve the project’s deliverables and milestones maintaining PQP and HSE requirements

Responsibilities:

• Provide Technical Support and leading the project team and report to the Project Manager.
• Responsible for all the MV, LV & Low Current Electrical Works Related to the Project Including:
• Site Survey.
• Shop Drawings and material submittals preparation, submission and securing approvals from Consultant & Client.
• Designing Power, Lighting and low current devices layouts.
• Electrical Drawings Preparation as per RSB (ADEWA/ADDC) Wiring Regultions to secure Approval from ADDC.

• Work as an integral part of the commissioning process and sign-off commissioning parameters.

Responsible for Preparation of Daily, weekly and Monthly progress report and coordination with Consultant including Government Agencies. Handling of Manpower of 100 Labors, Electricians, cable Jointers and Operators with Machinery and Transport. Familiar with the Process of getting approvals from different Government departments for site activities before starting new Schemes/ Project.

Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plan for use in the construction.

Co-ordinate, supervise, plan the work and efficiently organize site activities in order to meet agreed program of deadlines.

Liaising with consultants and/or sub-contractor engaged on the project for timely implementation of Installation Schedules.

Responsible for all the Shutdown activities in Primary, Substation, Switching Stations & Package Units. Thorough in Site HSE/PTW/Shutdown procedures.

Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise.
