Current Responsibility & Position, in brief includes Heading the Accounts Department with Subordinates under me to assist in, monitoring day to day activities of Accounts in co ordination with Finance Manager, Monitoring Bank Accounts & Cash requirements of Various Sites and employees Immigration expense needs in co ordination with HR Dept. Creation of new Ledger Accounts, Cost Centers in Tally Accounting Software. Maintain accurate System Accounting & Data Backup. Responsible in Finalisation of Year end Audit of Accounts, Reconcile of Inter Companies Accounts, and Co ordinate with Auditors for P&L and Balance Sheet Audit, and reply to all audit related queries, documents, schedules, confirmations,
stock reports, WIP, Balance confirmations, Adjustment entries, Provision entries, Prepaid & Accrued Schedules and Assets Depreciation Schedules and submit all necessary Ledger accounts/ schedules, doc for Audit Finalisation.
Operationally heading the Finance Dept of the Group, Hilton Aluminium Factory, Hilton Transport & Excavation, Hilton Workshop, monitoring day to day Funds movement, Costing, Budgeting, Accounting, responsible for the up-to-date accurate financial records and timely generation of financial statements and other reports.
Worked as Systems Analyst for a Chennai based Instrumental and Industrial Automation Company in charge for maintaining Company’s Accounts in Oracle Database and full in charge of Company’s Finance and Accounts.
Operationally heading for 8 years the Finance Dept of the company by monitoring day to day funds movement. Costing, Budgeting, Accounting, MIS and instrumental in formalising import tie-ups with multinational Food Stuff companies and participated and advise the company on its expansion plans. Controlled the consolidation and reporting of monthly internal financial reports and wrote related commentary. Implemented Oracle database and computerised the manual accounts to EDP.
Responsible for company’s Finance in allocating funds for production of machinery and liaison with purchasers and bankers for funds and Bills discounting. In charge of Central Excise and submitting all relevant reports, forms and taxes as per law. General administration of factory accounts and compilation of records as per factories act, and instrumental in computerising the manual accounts
