•Do the food Preparation, maintaining the ingredients and ensuring that food is always ready on time to the required standards.
•Assist and monitor food stocks and minimum the kitchen wastage
•Follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen and clean the section as directed
•Ensure stock is controlled and rotated. Accept and store deliveries
•Report any maintenance issues to the head chef immediately
•Comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies
•Be flexible and willing to help other if needed.
Prepare different kinds of food
•Help kitchen workers in the preparation of food items and set up allocated stations for menu, as instructed by Chef and in compliance with standards.
•Arrange, prepare and break down the buffets and food displays while maintaining the uppermost level of hygienic standards.
•Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare menu for service
•Prepare a variety of foods including meat, seafood, poultry, vegetable and cold food items
•Inform chef in advance of likely shortages
•Ensure the correct temperature of food to make it attractive and tasty
•Make sure all storage areas are tidy and all products are stored appropriately
Perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients, so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
•Prepare a variety of foods according to customers' orders or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures.
•Labeling and stocking all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
•Measuring ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
•Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.
•Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
•Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
Welcome customers as they come into the restaurant
•Help customers to settle down and also take their orders
•Provide answers to queries presented by clients regarding services and offers made available by the restaurant
•Process customers’ orders and generate their bills
•Clean all tables after clients have left and get such tables prepared for the next set of clients
•Serve and pack warm foods to clients in an effective manner and in strict accordance to the orders of such clients
BUTCHER
•Assist kitchen staff and outdoor delivery staff whenever such assistance is required
•Maintain chart of all available deals and products periodically and refresh such chart on daily basis.
•Prepare product displays
•Receive deliveries and check their content and hygiene
•Move meat stock to cold storage areas
•Assist in maintaining clean and sanitary work conditions
FRYER
