● Maintain and fault find on MH (Aker Solutions) Pipe Handling equipment, including
the following: - DDM (Drilling Derrick Machine) / Derrick Pipe Racking System
(Bridge Crane / Lower Guide Arm / Fingerboard) /
TFM & PDPH (Tubular Feeding machine & Pipe Deck
pipe Handler - Crane) / HRN (Hydraulic Rough Neck)
and associated PLC’s (Siemens S7300’s & 400’s).
● Maintain and troubleshooting on Wirth Drawworks & Triplex Mud Pumps, Mud Mix
& Storage, Cuttings Storage & Re-injection, ABB AC80 Variable Speed Drives, Gutor

● My duties here included fault finding on all single and 3 phase systems, preventative and
reactive maintenance, UPS systems, LV and HV isolations, switching and Eex inspections.

Hired by Bechtel as contractor for BTC Company during construction AGT
(Azerbaijan Georgia Turkey) Oil Pipeline Project.
Key duties:
● Inspection and testing all electrical equipment and transmitters,
● Start-up LERs (Local Equipment Room).
● Ensure that all work is carried out to the requirements of the
Permit-to-Work system and in compliance with Safety Procedures in
force, initiates Permits-to-Work as necessary within their discipline and
ensures all safety precautions are carried out.
● Attend all safety critical activities e.g. Shift Handover.
● Comply with the Permit To Work Systems in operation on the
installations.
● Liaise with Client Electrical Supervisor on any matters relating to the
safe Electrical Operation of the installations.
● Monitor any Instrument & Electrical equipment supplied by other
contractors or sub-contractors to ensure that it is suitable for uses
within the areas desired.
