Principal Duties Strategy & Performance Management
▪ Participate in developing & reviewing the organizational business plans, goals and objectives, policies &
strategies, and operational plans.
▪ Developing, maintaining, & reporting key performance measures for all organization’s processes .
▪ Developing and implementing action plans for continual improvement of internal organizational functions
▪ Align the group of company’s business requirements and KPIs with the overall Corporate HSE strategy,
expectations and initiatives, guide and direct the OH nurses and HSE teams to ensure the deliverables are
in accordance with business requirements.
Audits - First & Second Party Audits
▪ Plan & conduct internal Quality, HSE and process audits
▪ Plan & conduct 2nd party audits (suppliers, and sub-contractor’s audits), and
▪ Follow up third party audits on the Quality, HSE management systems
Training & Development
▪ Develop suitable quality, occupational health, safety and environmental training needs of workers with
respect to their respective field of expertise, to improve their professional skills and competency.
▪ Provide guidance to Top Management on the latest development and compliance with HSE laws,
standards, regulations and their impact and implementation with respect to business risk and opportunity
▪ Plan and conduct training & awareness, workshops, wellness events concerning Quality, Occupational
Health Wellness, Best Industrial Hygiene practices and programs, Safety & Environmental issues and its
improvement.
Overall governance of Health, Safety & Environment Management System.
▪ Proactively contributing the overall management of the organization through development,
implementation & governance of its Integrated Management System - which consist of (Health & Safety,
Environment, Quality and Social Accountability) according to the international standards the ISO
9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, OSHA 3143 and SA 8000.
▪ Manage and direct activities related to development and implementation of technical safety matters,
industrial hygiene practices, including Environment and Quality & HSE Performance teams in order to
assure that all requirements are addressed and accomplished in a planned and consistent means
complying with Client Standards, OSHAD CoP’s and other relevant and international guidelines.
▪ Monitor the corporate and project related environment activities and initiatives to support a waste free
environment, in the areas of water, air and soil, in line with the EAD/TADWEER including applicable
international standards.
Key Roles and Accountabilities;
▪ Developing and support the implementation of the occupational safety & health, and environment project
specific plans, risk assessment, Technical Safety Procedures & Engineering Standards within the In-house
Engineering designs and EPC project schedules.
▪ Provide assurance to management and other interested party regarding the status of technical HSE
compliance at project lifecycle (design, commissioning and operation stages).
▪ Ensure the all HSE reviews such as Project HSE Plans & Personal Safety including corporate Social
Responsibilites are conducted.
▪ Provide technical support to resolve technical queries and deviations and advice on the technical safety
matters related to projects & operations.
▪ Ensure that relevant Industrial Hygiene risks, project specific Risk Assessment, HSE Environment
impact/aspect are recognized conducted and evaluated and updated (if applicable), statement of fitness
is approved against all stages of operations.

▪ Establish and supervise the implementation of Industrial Hygiene and Welfare, Environmental Programs
to support business unites & other functions to comply with Client, OSHAD (Procedures, Codes of Practice
etc.) to ensure no harm to people and prevent/minimize environmental impacts.
▪ Ensure that significant inspections/audits including mock drills are conducted, fire protection & detection
design philosophies and studies are reviewed as per the Client, Civil Defence standards, UAE fire and life
safety code of practice.
▪ Extend technical support to various business units risk committees project safety committee, etc.
▪ Review and reporting of HSE performance and other significant KPI’s.
▪ Ensure long-term business plan is developed along with the appropriate allocation of an HSE budget to
demmosntrate management commitment and support.
▪ Performing day-to-day personnel and administrative tasks through managing subordinates’ performance,
evaluating the performance of the staff on a regular basis, assessing their training needs and set annual
training plans.
