General Scope nurse-
1.)taking good care of a 4 months old baby boy with a ventricular septal defects for 2 months.
2.)Take good care also with a diabetic patient at home.Administer medication through oral and IM route.Check vital signs.Check blood sugar.Provide nursing care.Observe universal precautions.
3.)Travel Care Nurse-Went to New York with one of the Sheikha here in qatar together with her 1 year old son .Provides personal nursing care.
4.)School nurse-assisted and supervised to newly license nurse in Al-Jazeera Academy for 2 months.
-Assist in developing and implementing overall nursing strategic plan consistent with hospital policies and objectives.
-Organizes, directs and supervises daily nursing services to assure adequate staffing coverage for providing quality care.
-Represents the hospital in health care program and professional organization and serve in a public relation capacity to stimulate professional and organizational growth.
-Demonstrate initiatives in self development and education.
-A role model for hospital employees in professional behavior and accountability.
-Manages all the registered nurses in the team.
-Make sure that the registered nurses are properly trained and everything is running correctly.
-Assigning the Registered nurses to a particular task.
-Scheduling hours of the team.
-Evaluates the team to ensure they are giving the best care possible to their patients.
-Also involved in hiring staff.
-Able to work efficiently and quickly under pressure and keep the patient and staff calm and under control.
-Capable communicators and often have to talk to family members and inform them about medical procedures and physicians instructions.
-Provides prompt, immediate but quality and comprehensive care to all patients who seek emergency treatment thus, restoring, promoting and maintaining clients well being with respect to them as unique individual.
-Gives initial assessment-brief history and interview, checking vital signs and neurologic check.
-Notify resident on duty
-Provides emergency measures needed for the patient under critical care.
-Develop and document a plan of care based on individual patient needs.
-Assess patient continuously through the use of monitoring devices available in the hospital.
-Prepares and dispense medicine through IM, IV and oral route as prescribed.
-Securing signed consent on emergency procedures.
-Escorting patient in ancillary units for specific procedures.
-Documentation and charting.
-Provides health teaching and discharge teaching to patients not admitted to the hospital.
-Assist surgeon during Operation.
-Prepare patient for admission and discharge.
-Proper endorsement to incoming shift.
-Performs all other duties of a nurse.
-Administer first aid treatments to injured employees.
-Conducts injured employees to hospital if necessary.
-Schedule employees for annual screening.
-Assess the examination results and coordinate it to the company physician.
-Maintains employees medical records.
-Conducts health education and health teaching
-Records employees medical history and vital signs.
-Report to safety Manager regarding employees accident.
-Systematically maintains an up -to- date inventory of medicines and supplies;replenishes supply on schedule and maintainance of medical instruments.
-Managed confidential employee files.
Incoming Quality Control
-Inspect and check all raw materials by using random sampling, before forwarding it to the production area for processing.
-if there are any defects record it and segregate and put a red tag on it.
As QC-Inspect and checks all the finish product done by the operators by using the wire harness circuit board.
-Make sure that the product is done with quality.
-Adhering to the rules by using the 5’S( seiri- sort, clearing, classify, / seiton-straighten, simplify, configure, set in order/ shitsuke -sustain, self discipline, custom & practice / seiketsu-standardize, stabilize, conformity, / seiso- sweep, shine, clean &check).
